I am an electrician and reading Brian‘s review above is the exact reason that I do not recommend people do their own electric work. This is a Siemens breaker. It is designed to fit in a Siemens panel if you use this breaker in other than a Siemens panel you are violating the UL listing. I exclusively install Siemens equipment so I believe in the equipment but you need to use it correctly.

Used on hot tub and works great

Works well for me, but here are some things to be aware of. First, it's longer than a typical breaker, as measured from the busbar to the vertical edge of the panel. That means you'll have less room to work with for what are likely to be very heavy gauge wires. Second, speaking of heavy gauge wires, this breaker won't handle a gauge heavier than AWG 4. My load wires are AWG 2, so I had to connect them to short segments of lighter gauge wire to make this work. Not so easy, given how thick and stiff these wires are, combined with less room to the edge of the panel as mentioned earlier.

I recently hooked up a 400 gallon, 8-seater spa (BeachComber 750, Balboa main board) that requires a 48A circuit (240V 3-wire) to this breaker. If you have an old GE panel like me, you probably won't find a 60A GFCI GE breaker anywhere. You also won't find an outdoor spa disconnect box rated for 60A with an isolated neutral bus bar at Lowe's or Home Depot. My final solution was to use this breaker in my GE panel and creatively connect and isolate the neutral wires inside a 60A AC disconnect box outside near the spa.This breaker will fit in GE panel. Yes, it does cover up the neutral bus bar (see picture) but it mounts just fine on the stab type connectors. I hope this helps!
