Sanicat Gold Clumping Cat Litter 5L

Love this cat litter, it's really soft and clumps better than any other litter so reduces waste when scooping (the pee literally clumps into a little ball that is very easy to lift out with the scoop) unfortunately they designed the box to have a little window on the front and back so you can see the product inside and every time I receive it in the mail (I have repurchased several times) the windows are busted and there is litter all over the inside of the box. It is a tad annoying but the product is worth it in my opinion, just take note if like me you have to get stuff delivered to you're workplace it may leak litter everywhere!

Sanicat Clumping Gold (formerly Sophisticat) has been the litter of choice during 25 years of cat ownership, and the one I always return to if I'm ever forced to try something else during times of scarcity, such as during the early part of lockdown. I am so pleased it's back now - and, oh joy, in a redesigned solid box that is less inclined to burst in transit than the ones that had the daft cellophane windows.

Really rate this cat litter but the boxes were damaged when they arrived and litter went everywhere as I opened the package.Means I can’t use the pouring spout because litter goes all over every time and I’ve had to buy a special container for it. So much for an eco friendly box...Makes me think about buying from a shop next time where I can choose box not covered in dents.Litter works well and really clumps, just scoop out the messes and top up. I do a full change and and wash out once a week because we have two kitties.

I like this litter because it clumps well, is easy to remove and doesn’t create loads of dust. When I used to use cheaper fullers earth type every piece of furniture seemed to be coated with a layer of dust. Not sure about the scent - personally I can’t detect any scent.

I think the cat litter is great and has the lowest dust of any cat litter we've used over the years. However this box came wrapped in a plastic bag, and had loose cat litter which had fallen out of the bottom of the box. (The box didn't appear to be damaged). The plastic bag had also leaked so there was some cat litter loose in the outer packaging. The box isn't sealed properly at the bottom so the cat litter falls out as you tip the box. It's not the first time there have been issues with the box. They used to come with a clear plastic window so you could see how much litter was left but the plastic often came away from the cardboard so the litter poured out the gap. The manufacturer wasn't particularly helpful when I contacted them about it. This is the first issue I've had with the new box design so I'm hoping it's a one off.

No problems with this product at all, Worth extra cost to similar sanicat clumping product

Always use this brand, no smell and good clumping. Reccomend
