I love baking and making all kinds of sweets. When I saw these cake ring molds and they showed the mousse cakes, I had to get them and give it a try.These ring molds worked very easily. They are fairly sturdy metal rings. Even though they are hollow with no top or bottom, they are resilient and keep their shape very well. If you really tried, I think you could smash/bend them. An extra advantage they don't mention: when making the crust, put the crumbles in and use the lifter to press them in place. Worked perfect, quick & easy.Once the mousse cakes were setup, it was time to get them out. They don't come with any instructions, but it seemed self-explanatory. When I came back to review them, I see the pictures in the listing actually show you pushing the cake from the top instead of the bottom. I think this would squish the cake, but I may try it next time. Pushing up from the bottom, you're pressing against the crust, but I suppose you're also risking the cake falling off since you have it up in the air.Regardless, I got them to come out flawlessly and they look great. A cool new set of pans for my kitchen!

They certainly are! The rings, pusher and lifter are made of heavy duty stainless steel. Unlike thinner molds that are not as rigid, these will not bend out of shape or distort the shape of your dessert. They will be perfect for making individual mini cakes or layered desserts. I’m planning to use them for cakes with a layer of mousse and a cookie crust and I’m sure that they will turn out beautifully uniform. The pusher is perfectly sized, with a sturdy central rod for making it easy to remove your dessert from the ring, and the lifter can transfer it safely to your serving platter. They can be used both in the oven, refrigerator and freezer making them ideal for mini cheesecakes, small ice cream cakes or ice cream sandwiches. These can be hand washed or put in the dishwasher. While there are similar sets that cost less, I doubt that they are as sturdy and durable as these. The rings are perfect for a home baker or as a gift for a friend or family member.

These are just what I needed for a lovely presentation of plated desserts and appetizers.Whether making a tiered cake and mousse dessert or a sharing-sized portion of steak tartare or other appetizers, the molds make it easy to form the product, get it on the plate, and then easily unmold out to make a nice smooth-sided tower of delights.The rings are thick enough to be very sturdy and not prone to distortion, the unmolding press can be used to hold things down as I lift off the ring (Like for a molded on-plate appetizer) or used to press the ring down with the press sitting on the table when unmolding a firmly frozen dessert product. (Personal ice cream cakes, anyone?) If you want to elevate your plating, this is a great way to do that.

I got these to do those fluffy souffle pancakes. With the addition of the lifter and the pusher, making this type of pancake is a lot easier and I can do multiple ones at a time. They have been holding up quite well so far after weeks of using them twice a week.

Oh, now these are NICE!They are very heavy duty. Each ring weighs 5.3 ounces. I attempted to squeeze one of these rings to see if they would warp. Granted, I'm not the strongest person ever, but I could not bend these with just my hand.They are a lovely mirror finish; all stainless steel.They also come with a lifter and a pusher; I could not be more pleased with that.There are SO many things you could do with these rings, and I'm so excited I can't even decide where to start. I love, love these.

These cake rings are of a great width and depth and they are really solidly made. The press and spatula pieces are a great addition to help you get your cakes out cleanly. I have absolutely no complaints about these rings.
