Works well for my needs
The listing says it all. 8 outlets, LCD display, lithium ion, surge protection, battery backup. It arrived well packaged with on time 2-day Prime delivery. It was literally a plug and play set up and it's an attractive unit if that matters to you.

Reliable Power When You Need It Most
I bought this UPS battery backup to protect my networking gear and PC, and it’s already saved me a few times during power blips and outages. Setup was easy, and it gives me enough time to safely shut things down or ride out short outages without any interruptions. It runs quiet, has plenty of outlets, and the peace of mind it gives is honestly worth every penny. If you work from home, game, or just want to keep your internet running during storms, this is a solid investment. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I looked at a bunch of different UPS options, but I chose this one because it had the right balance of power capacity, number of outlets, and price. Some others either didn’t have enough backup time or felt overpriced for what they offered. This one had great reviews, a solid reputation for reliability, and supported everything I needed—modem, router, switch, and my PC—without struggling. It just checked all the boxes without overcomplicating things.

Basic, but gets the job done.
I've owned this UPS for about 3 months now. I haven't had any utility power outages, but it has kept some equipment alive while I played "Find the breaker". I've also had its power cut while I replaced a light switch elsewhere on the circuit. My network switch and surveillance DVR have not suffered from being fed by this UPS. It switches from line to battery very quickly. The power output is clean enough that it hasn't harmed the DVR or the 8 cameras powered by it. I only dock this unit one star because it has no connectivity to a PC. I feel that is a very basic function that any UPS needs to have regardless of inverter tech or battery chemistry. There are less expensive units out there that do have that feature, but they lack either Pure Sine Wave inverters or Lithium chemistry. I bought this in spite of that because the devices I am powering with this UPS aren't smart enough to make use of a USB or serial connection. In spite of that lack of PC connectivity you get far more battery powered outlets than you do on a typical pedestal UPS. You also get pure sine wave inverter which is kinder to connected equipment. Finally the Lithium Iron Phosphate chemistry should last far longer than Lead-acid.

It's value comes from size, weight, battery life, aesthetics. Justify the cost on those grounds.
I haven't given it a good test, but I can say that it is really a nice unit in that it is light and much more compact than older style lead acid units like Cyber Power and APC (both of which are excellent.) It claims ten year battery life and if so that will be an improvement as well. If size, weight, and convenience are of value to you, then this unit is worth the extra cost. If the battery life is as a good as spec, it is worth the cost. If you are just putting it in a server closet, then I don't know If I could justify the cost or not. Battery life would be the conditional there. Very nice unit with 1 extra receptacle over the other units mentioned. Cozmic Charly Told Ya So.

There has to be better out there
Summary: Minus one star because it does not turn off the way the instructions say (more difficult/annoying). Minus one start because it often gets an error code and has to be unpluged/replugged at start-up. Minus one star because of the unresponsive / non-existent customer support. Otherwise it works fine when it's on and is quiet. Details: I had a Cyber Power from Costco that functioned perfectly well (that is it turned on and off as simply as you'd expect) but the battery had deteriorated rapidly and would only last a few seconds when the power went out. This was after just a few years. I bought this one out of the hope/promise that the battery would last longer. But this UPS isn't ready for prime-time. I turn my UPS off every night and on every morning, and so the problems with this product are very annoying. I don't know why there can't just be a simple button or switch for power? Instead, they have this janky loose button. The instructions say "Press and hold the switch button for 5 [seconds], and the LCD display will turn off. Then release the switch, and the shutdown process is complete." This is NOT TRUE. You have to first hit the button once to get the LCD display to turn on; sometimes this takes a couple times. THEN, you can hold for five seconds for the power down. Power on generally works as described (hold the switch for three seconds)--except you very often get a U55 error, which indicates "product overload protection" despite the fact that I have this thing way under-utilized. When this happens it will power everything on for a few seconds and then crash them. You have to unplug the UPS and replug and then it works fine. All of this is super annoying to have to deal with every night and morning. I unfortunately can't speak to the longevity of the power supply because I haven't had a substantial need yet. I really only needed this to function for 30 seconds inbetween power outage and backup generator kicking in, which it has worked for. Lastly I will note that I contacted their customer service before I figured out the trick to get the thing to power off (after struggling with it for many many nights). I got a response from someone that stated "my after-sales colleague will contact you"--but I never heard from anyone. I would go with a more established/reputable brand if you can find the features you want. Good luck APRIL 2025 UPDATE: Unfortunately, I have dropped this from two stars to one. Today, for the first time, I actually needed this thing to work and it failed. The power to our house went out for a second--AND SO DID ALL MY DEVICES HOOKED TO THIS UPS. The whole point of this thing is to keep your devices from crashing when the power goes out. Unfortunately, my computer and my monitors were affected the same as any other electronics in the house as if they weren't even on a UPS. I should remind folks that the U in UPS stands for "Uninterruptible", so... so much for that.
