K1 SE - Easy setup, Automatic calibration, Fast Quality Prints.
TL;DR: A fantastic upgrade from older bed-slinger printers. Essentially a K1C without the camera or side panels — fast, accurate, and highly recommended.I upgraded from an Ender 3 V2 that had been giving me issues, and switching to the Creality K1 SE felt like magic — I was able to print my first job with zero manual setup. Everything from homing to auto leveling, nozzle cleaning, bed meshing, and input shaping worked right out of the box.I saw some reviews complaining about how to get prints onto the printer, but I had no issues at all. Using the stock firmware with Orca Slicer and connecting via local IP using Creality Print worked perfectly. One of the main reasons I chose this printer over others is that it's basically a K1C without the added extras (like the camera and side panels), offering the same build quality and performance. It’s also open in terms of firmware — no locked-down software or mandatory cloud printing if you don’t want it. You’re free to modify and customize as needed. So far, I’ve really enjoyed using the K1 SE. It's fantastic to be able to print without a hassle. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable, high-performance 3D printer at a reasonable price.

Great personal printer
The media could not be loaded. This is my first PERSONAL 3D printer and it's a keeper. I say "personal" because I taught 3D printing at a vo-tech and the only printers I used for 5 years straight were Raise3D Pro 2 and Makerbot. The school bought me 2 of each, and they sat right behind my desk, and I had unlimited use of them, and actually learned everything I know on them. In case you don't know, the Raise3D's are industrial-grade with about a 12 cubic inch build volume and cost around $2.5k each. When I retired, I lost access to the printers and needed to print something, and given that I can't fork over $2.5k for a printer, I decided to get something small and inexpensive, and let me tell you, the K1 SE doesn't disappoint. While it can't compare with the tech specs and perhaps build quality of the Raise3D's, it's actually much faster and easier to use. I ran it for 12 hours straight the first day printing PETG, and it performed flawlessly. Every printer is just a tool that you buy to do the job you need it to do, and if the K1 SE does what you need, you can't go wrong. If you need a 300mm^3 print volume, or CFS capability, you might consider something else (although you can add CFS to the K1 SE). If you want a basic, reliable, fast printer to crank out parts on at an affordable price, this fits the bill nicely.

Very nice 3D printer
The media could not be loaded. Great 3D printer. I have printed quite a bit of designs and it has done a great job on every one. It was very easy to set up. I went by the directions on the box for unpacking and the instructions inbyhe provided book. The only issue I had at first is it would not turn on. Noticed on the side there is a switch for 220 or115v. I turned it from 220 to 115 and it turned on just fine after that. No problems with the auto level. Overall, great value for the money and the prints have been awesome.

VERP BAD PRODUCT
I purchased mine in February of 2025. It broke down in June of 2025, due to a wire coming off of the heat coil. I purchased a new part. Went install it FOLLOWING THIER INSTRUCTIONS. While removing the motherboard the main power plug from the motherboard board the ENTIRE plug broke free from the board itself, because the plug had so much glue on it from assembly. I am by no means an expert on 3D printers so I was unaware that this was not normal. I plugged the plug back into the board making sure the pins went into the plug and didn’t not bend (again I am not an expert in 3D printing or the electrical design). I turned my printer on after getting it all back together. There was a spark and a puff of smoke in which my motherboard was FRIED. So now I have to purchase a new motherboard. Crealitys customer service and support is horrible. I have been in contact with Amazon (which has been very great helping as much as they can). Creality on the other hand has OFFERED no help except to purchase another replacement part. It is a scam, you buy their printer on to have it start breaking down because of cheap parts and horrible craftsmanship. Forcing you to buy replacement parts (which are built a thousand times better). Please do not purchase this the K1 SE unless you want to go through this same experience. I am so disappointed in this company. I have been a huge Creality/ Ender customer for years and I am done . I will no longer purchase or use their products. So very disappointed.

Nice quality printer had issues
Very nice printer and is easy to setup. I upgraded from a Ender 3 S1 Pro to the Creality K1 SE. The print quality is better and the K1 prints 5 times faster than the Ender 3. I only gave it a 4 star because of compatibility with other slicing software. The K1 SE and this series printers use Creality Print software. It connects by wifi which works well. Cura software doesn't support but one model K1 max. All the other softwares out there only support their own printers, and that's it. There is 3rd party software out there if you want to roll the dice. People may have a learning curve with the new software. But the printer itself works great. Happy with the upgrade.

Works like a champ! Great value!
This is my third 3D printer. I have to say, it blows away the first two by leaps and bounds! It is VERY fast with the Hyper PLA from Creality, makes very clean prints and can be upgraded in the future as my needs increase. I have been printing using PLA, Hyper PLA, and PETG and have had no problems with any prints. I have not even had to use a raft for any prints yet. I have had no issues with lifting or warping. I do have it in an enclosure to minimize temperature variations. I love that it is self-leveling! My last two printers were manual leveling and a royal pain. Conclusion: I really like this printer and have so complaints at this point. I have been running it almost daily and have had no issues!
