Jumping from the Quest 2 to the Quest 3 I knew I had to find another VR attachment if I wanted to continue playing my favorite game of all time Golf+. After lots of research I came across this one and the fit is perfect. I absolutely had to have a club with adjustable shaft length and this one delivers. The grip feels real good and Golf+ settings have this grip in their adjustment menu. AMVR has been really knocking it out of the park on this and other VR accessories (like their battery pack) that I've purchased from them. For fans of Golf+ this attachment is essential.

5 star product. Very nice overall! Wrist strap is a little difficult to fish through the hole when mounting controller (unless you pull it through with a little piece of wire or something). Still, this is a great product!

I've used numerous different golf club attachments for the Golf+ game and this is a good one for people who are just getting into the game, and it can be modified for advanced players trying to get the true golf club feel for their controller. It's designed for right-handed golfers using the right controller only. There is a preset in the Golf+ game for this AMVR attachment when used fully retracted as a short club attachment. When it's extended to mid or long length you need to use custom settings to get the club settings adjusted right. It fastens to the controller using a special included battery cover that replaces the stock cover and it also uses the stock wrist strap to lock it into place as a safety measure which I really like. I like the feel of using it at near the fully extended length, but for me I prefer weighted club attachments so it feels more like swinging a real golf club. To accomplish this I have wrapped some lead fishing weight "rope" tightly around the end of the shaft attachment and covered it with duct tape to hold it in place. Because of the length and weight I added it feels more like swinging a real golf club than any other I've used. It should also be noted I didn't quite extend it to the max length because of a previous bad experience with a similar telescoping club attachment that came apart where the compression fitting is and I currently have it tightly duct taped at that compression fitting to keep it from slipping. I plan on eventually adding a small sheet metal screw to insure that it stays together. The golf grip on it is a medium size and has a good feel. The shaft is all aluminum and light weight, the controller holder is molded plastic and seems to be plenty strong. All in all I'm impressed with this attachment and I'm currently using it over a much more expensive club attachment I have just because it feels so much more like swinging a real golf club after adding the additional weight. The angle it holds the controller at works well for tracking issues inherent to the Q3 controller for Golf+ use and has worked perfectly for me. Be aware you will need more space in your play area including with any ceiling fans or lights if you use this fully extended.

By now, you've seen the videos of how to set it up (which are far preferrable than the limited manual that comes with it). What you may not know is how to use it within your preferred app. I got this for Walkabout Golf, and it took me a while to understand how to set it up and use it, so here's what I've learned.1) The golf stick doesn't extend as far as you'd expect. I wanted it to go relatively low to the ground, so that my controller was near the ground, but not in danger of hitting it. That meant extending the club length past the word STOP. They warn you not to go beyond as it could damage the club, but I did anyway. No damage to the club, the controller position wasn't being recognized correctly. Reducing it back to STOP fixed it.At first, I was really aggravated by the short club, as I wanted it to be as much like a real club as possible, but it turns out the combination of the feel of the shaft, the length of the shaft, and the VR representation of the club really do combine to make you feel like you're actually using a club. After I got used to it, I didn't miss the longer length at all.2) To set up the club, follow the instructions for how to put the controller on the head (watch the video instructions, and make sure you pull the bulb out to let it rotate clockwise). Once you've done that, you need to set it up in Walkabout Golf. Go to Settings, then Putter (the first option), then Club Length.3) Ah, Club Length. I got stuck on this forever until I figured it out. The way it works is it will show a VR putter in front of you. You need to move your actual club to match the VR one as much as possible. Once you've done that, you need to press the Grip, which is the trigger that's not the trigger (it's more on the left side than the main trigger).4) Once you've done this, you're ready to putt. Except for the fact that the controller is at the end of a stick, which makes it hard to press the Grip button to play. Go into Settings and turn off Grip to Putt, and your putter will be ready to hit the ball as soon as you move into position.5) Teleport automatically? It'll make your play smoother, but I actually decided not to do this. I enjoy moving through the environment a bit, though I do use Teleport to move any significant distance. I quickly got used to being able to rotate the stick up, grab the controller and hit the Trigger to teleport. But it would have been faster to teleport automatically.So how it is to actually play? Fantastic. It took about three holes to decide /i was never going back to a controller only, and by the end of the first course, I'd decided this was going to be my Christmas gift for my Walkabout friends. It's a bit of a splurge, but it makes Walkabout so much nicer, and my game has improved. It's not like I care about a being a Walkabout master, but it's made one of the more enjoyable games on the Quest at least 2x better. Recommended!

The product broke after the third usage, right in the middle of the club. It almost broke my remote controller. The worst is that the customer service has never answered to my request. Terrible.

Adding this VR golf club attachment has completely elevated my VR experience. I bought this club to use with mt Meta Quest, and it is so realistic, if I was to buy another I wouldn't bother with the adjustable length, and would save a fe dollars.However no regrets buying this Club.
