Excellent Alarm Clock
This is an excellent Alarm Clock for everyday use. It is much larger than the travel alarm clocks making it easier to use and see when you no longer have 20/w0 vision !! It is very well built and feels robust unlike many travel alarms and has great features including silent motion, large hands, a gentle backlight which can made temporarily bright by pushing the top button. A good alarm which progressively gets louder. All in all a top class everyday alarm clock

Great alarm clock
This clock is a nice size and has a silent sweeping second hand. To see the time in the dark you just press the top of it and it has a lovely blue/white light . It also has a sensor if you wish it to have a casual continuous light on its face. Easy to set and switch off the alarm. The only thing l found odd was it houses 3 AA batteries instead of the usual 2. I would recommend the clock.

It developed a noise after 2 weeks
Just the clock i needed big clear face which has a bright light which can be switched on as you check the time or left on. Smart retro look and seems well made. It doesnt tick but after a week or two it starting making a funny fast tapping noise like it was sticking and it lost time about 2 mins a day till it had to be reset. The sticking noise kept me awake. It's a shame because it is a beautiful and very clear faced clock which i really wanted )o: I am very disappointed and now i have no clock at all.

NICE BIG FACE, NICE BIG HANDS AND NUMBERS
I can easily forget the world relaxing in a nice, hot, sweet-smelling bath; but this can cause me problems if there is an appointment to follow, because it's too easy to lose track of time. For this reason I've always had a clock at the end of my bath, and for 35 years, it's been a fake brass carriage clock running off a C battery, simply because at the time, it was the only one in the house which would fit where i wanted it. But it reached the end of its life, not because the mechanism failed, but because it simply fell to pieces.Looking on Amazon for a replacement, there were far too many choices for it to be an easy task. Advancing years and failing eyesight rules out small, dark or low-contrast (common on digital models) clock-faces, thin hands and small numerals, and whilst millions of battery clocks seem to be the same overall size, a very large percentage have very small faces set in a large surround. So I was pleased to find this example, whose face is the maximum size these common dimensions will allow. If you have a need for a very clear clock face set some distance away, yet which is small enough not have a dominant presence, this would be as good as any and better than most. And it came very promptly.

Excellent Large Face Alarm Clock
This is an excellent alarm clock. I wanted a clock I could see at night without putting on my glasses. This has a lovely big display which I can easily see and is completely silent. There is an option to have the face light up overnight which, although makes the clock easier to see in the night, can be a little distracting because of the size of the clock. I turned this off and use the night light button on top when I need to. The clock is very stable with a wider base than top so not likely to push it over in the night.
