It has a lot of power and is quick to chop. Originally, I was going to save a bit and purchase the smaller capacity bowl, but I am so glad I spent the extra and purchased the large capacity bowl. It allows me to chop large pieces of vegetables at once. I made a large batch of hummus in no time. The extra space allows food to be easily scraped out.The lid removes easily, as well as, the buttons are simple to operate. There are three feed options for adding food to the bowl while the lid is on: sm, med, and large. Very happy with my food processor.
