Close but no cigar
Excellent quality and appeared to be the correct one for my needs. However, not the correct "nut" size to attach to my scooter gas tank. (1982 Honda Urban Express)My error... will keep looking. Hoping to use the filter tube from the new one to get the old one to work.

Perfect fuel valve
I was looking to replace an old vacuum/diaphragm fuel valve on a 1985 Kawasaki zen 700 Ltd. Which are hard to find, expensive and known to fail. Also I just didn’t like not having an actual shut off for the fuel.I tried rebuilding the original valve (which was expensive) and I had issues. So I plugged the vacuum lines to the valve from the intake and bought this valve.Went right in my tank no problem, no modifications necessary. Works like it should and I’ve been very happy with it.Also I do like that it has the bowl with a screen at the bottom. Just one more filter.

It works
My old petcock rubber deteriorated and woukd not flow fuel. It would be easy to replace just the rubber parts but I could not find them so a complete valve replacement was the only choice. This one is a very similar design to the original. Replaced on a Rocketa GK-17-110 gokart.

Is that it fit : -)
I didn’t find where this was listed to fit on a 1987 Honda 125 FourTrax but I mic’d the threads and determined that it would screw onto the tank. Also it appeared to look the same with hose barb coming out like the original. It came in fairly quick and went on w/o any issues, working fine and I have a happy grandson who is 11 , and I bought this for his dad (my son) when he was 10 and it’s still going.

Installed smoothly on Yamaha QT50
This petcock is threaded differently than a normal petcock. The nut that threads the petcock onto the tank, is also threaded onto the petcock, with reverse threads. Which means when you install, start with the petcock nut threaded onto the petcock body but only on the first few threads. Install the filter tube onto the petcock and make sure the oring is seated down all the way. then begin threading the petcock onto the tank while holding the petcock valve in a fixed position. this will tighten the threads on both the tank and the petcock body.like stated this was used on a yamaha qt50. stem tube was just the right length, almost as if it was made for it. for the price, would buy again if it fit on all my toys.

It's a little rough on the casting. I expected this level of quality for the price. Contrary to other reviews, I had no problems with the item after I detailed it a little by removing casting flash from the output nipple. The o ring was robust, sealing the standpipe in the petcock and the petcock to the tank. It does have a main and reserve feature, and works well. AND>>>> unlike other "universal" petcocks that are advertised for the YamaHopper QT50, this one is actually short enough to fit the squatty tank without modification. It's in, it works, and I'm back to scottering around getting 85MPG. No weep from tank or my eyes on this one.

Great deal!
Worked perfectly. Sure does help tremendously when you absolutely can't get the real part for your 47 year old motorcycle! My riding season was saved for just $12. Wow! THANKS!
