Incredible colour!
This stuff is freaking amazing!! I have a very old picture frame and parts of the decorative wood have worn or broken off. I had tried matching the paint colours but to no avail. Then I added on the Rub N Buff and SNAP! The whole frame looks amazing. It covered up the original paint, the trying-to-fix-it paint, and the bare wood. Giving it a good old rub lets some of the old colours show through but it looks like it was supposed to look all along. Great stuff!

Very versatile
Have used this stuff for years. Always have a couple of different colours handy as they are so versatile. Dries quickly and buffs well.

Great for highlighting
The tube is tiny BUT a little goes a long way. Very useful. Very gold Very bright.A general dab smear brush will brighten any object. Great if used as a highlight tool.. great stuff. I bought 4 just in case....

Perfect for upcycling
Once you’ve got the hang of it, it goes a long way and works really well! Experiment on something unimportant first though, it recommends using your finger but I found that gave too much of a matte covering so I used a toothbrush and got a really lovely patina effect! It’s slightly translucent, I find it looks best either applied to something already gold to give it more dimension or something painted black first to give it an aged look

excellent product
I used this gold leaf colour to transform a shabby wooden frame by first painting it red and applying the gold leaf on top using my finger while my wife guffawed with laughter at my singing the James Bond goldfinger song (and breathe).I let bits of red show through especially at the mouldings and it looks so good. You can use a brush to apply it but you will use a bit more gold leaf.A little goes a long way and the tube says it covers 20 square feet!It washes off with soap and water.Recommended.

Not gold colour but depend on what you dye
Tried to dye some old jewlery in gold, it dyes well but the colour turned brassy and dull, also no shine to it at all
