Good fit. Solid build.
$50+ for any controller seems steep to me. But after playing with this one for a couple months, it pays for itself. It connects, it works, it holds a charge, and it has a good feel to it - properly sized and laid out.

Great joystick for use with my Fire HD 8 (10th generation)! At least for Doom and Doom II.
Tablets and games like Doom or Doom II (the original games) are not a good match. Trying to manipulate the controls onscreen just never worked for me. But the Fire tablet can be controlled by a joystick. I've got the XboxOne controller to work well with it, but it's a bit bulky to toss in a backpack when moving around. This 8BitDo controller works very well and can be paired with several different operating systems if desired. Holding the Start button along with the yellow B button puts it into Android mode. It works flawlessly with Doom and Doom II (the original games). The battery life is incredible, it charges easily and quickly with a USB-C cable. It paired very easily with my Fire tablet. And it's got a very small profile so it fits easily into a backpack or purse or shoulder tablet/computer case. I had tried a competitor's joystick and the joysticks were too jerky. This joystick works excellently, moving the cursor exactly how much I want and not more and not in a jerky manner.I'm very happy with it!

great little controller
When I got this controller I was so pleased with how cool it is. It feels great in your hands- so much better than a joycon controller. The buttons and analog sticks are all very responsive and nice. I have always hated the staggered analog stick layout that the Nintendo Switch has adopted so to have them side by side like on a Playstation's controller in their correct place is incredibly welcome, and the main reason I purchased the 8Bitdo SF30 Pro.The only gripe I have about the way the controller feels in hand is that it is a bit small- which is the design they're going for because the SNES controllers were also small (I wear a medium glove).Now. Why did I give this a 4 star rating? Pairing the device to my Switch. The reason I bought it.Don't use a fast charger brick to charge this controller. You will brick it. Use a regular little charging block or plug it into your pc to charge.Ive had issues charging it with my Switch dock though these issues have not been consistent.

Great controller for a great price
I was surprised by the quality of this controller. Most aftermarket controllers feel cheap, or the button quality doesn't feel as good; however this controller is fantastic. The analog sticks snap back quickly and smoothly, and I use this over my switch pro controller all the time. Pairing is a bit weird, but once you do it a few times, you get the hang of it. If you're a snes fan, and want something with a similar feeling but more modern button layout, I highly recommend this controller.

Very well done! My favorite controller
My favorite retro gaming controller. I've used this with a number of devices PC, Android, IOS, Raspberry Pi, etc... And has always worked perfectly. This controller is much easier to setup compared to the other 8-bit controllers I've had. However, it can be a bit of a pain so read the instructions as some devices have to be paired differently.Love that it's a cross between my two favorite retro gaming controllers SNES and PS2. My favorite feature is the status lights on the very bottom that work just like the PS2 lights did. The usage of USB-C is another great feature as that type of interface is becoming more common.

Nostalgia with a modern kick
I got this controller after watching and reading many reviews, I was very skeptical at first but after using it with my Nvidia Shield TV and my PC for RetroArch and a few modern games, I am very impressed and LOVE this controller! I love that it feels like a SNES controller it brings back so many memories just holding it even, and the control sticks make it the ultimate casual and retro gamer controller.

Excellent controller. Solid build quality
Excellent Bluetooth controller. Absolutely love it. Perfect for retro games on my PC that support Xbox controllers. Just feels fun. Excellent build quality and battery life. The only downside to this controller over a traditional Xbox controller is that the right and left triggers are buttons instead of analog triggers. This is more than irrelevant for most retro style games that I tend to play with and for many other games it would also be irrelevant, but worth noting if you play a lot of racing games.

I LOVE IT! Best Controller!
I'm not at all a gamer. I'm a python developer but don't play games lol. The last game system I ever had was a SNES. I do like the old 2D games like Zelda and Castlevania. I found on the iPad a few games that were a lot like the old NES and SNES Zelda games. But, the controls were awful. If only I had a gamepad it would be so much easier. I found one but it was awful. It was a lot like this one but...it would not connect to my Android phone or iPad. I tried on my Mac and I could get it to connect and work but the controls were awful. I also most gave up because I don't play a lot of games. i found this controller. It had good reviews so I thought I try it. OMG...it's just plain wonderful. After a few long hours of work, I can sit back on the couch put the iPad on the TV tray. And play (Goblin Sword as of right now and Swordigo...my favorite!) It's wireless. I can sit back and enjoy the game and not worry about wires. And it's USB-C for charging. Love this little game controller!
