Takane Quartz Clock Movement Mechanism with 3" Black Spade Hands and Red Second Hand, U.S.A. Made (5/16" Threaded Shaft for dials up to 1/8" Thick)

I used this in a 12-inch diameter outdoor clock on our patio. Excellent timekeeping, easy to use. Has survived the direct sun, summer heat, and some pretty wet Autumn rainy days. Last week it got blown off the wall by a wind gust, falling 8 feet onto concrete. Still works perfectly. Gets my vote for reliability/durability/ease of use. Recommend as an excellent replacement works for any DIYer that wants to try it.

Was looking for an actual Takane clock movement to replace a bad one for a 20 year old clock. Fit right in the tabs on the clock. Had to shim it back a little to keep the hands from hitting the clock glass but it worked well.

Up for a day and it keeps time. Fit in the clock well. The setting wheel is not at all easy or smooth, a little too hard to spin and second hand is choppy, needed to go back and forth until I got the second hand at the desired position. A little disappointed in that.

Easy to change out and works perfectly!

Bought this movement to replace one on a desk clock. This is the 3rd battery clock movement that I have installed. This one never worked correctly and will kill a AA battery in about 48 hours. Waiting for a refund.

My husband bought this to replace a clock movement that had stopped working after years of use. A project our then early teenage son had made at school. This product was easy to install and works perfectly. Nice to have the clock back on the wall and keeping time perfectly. It arrived on time and was packed well.

It fit the custom clock I made about 25 years ago. The hands supplied were too long but I was able to reuse the original ones. The original movement was Takane (25 years old).
