The TOMASHI T-03 FM/AM/SW radio is a very nice radio. I have very good reception on the FM and shortwave bands here where I live in the northern part of Sweden. I don’t have much to say about the AM band because Sweden shut down its local AM broadcasts in 2010. But the TOMASHI T-03 also has great audio, maybe not so much bass, but personally, I love the sound. And I love that this radio is powered by two large D-cell batteries so you get a very long runtime with this radio. A very nice radio for the money i recommend this radio if you wanna have a simple radio.

This radio works well. It's easy to use and sounds good.

Does not look good in person, did not come with battery, battery hard to find within America, bad quality, not a good size, The functionality of its audio was subpar.

Good and clear sounds

I bought this as an emergency radio for an approaching hurricane. I wanted the SSB available in case commercial radio stations went off the air. I like that the dials allow me to tune to a station rapidly and that I can increase the volume to hear it across the room and even into the next room. Even SSB came in loud and clear on the stations covering my area during their broadcast hours.

I purchased this portable radio primarily to have, as a back-up method for assess to broadcast media, in case of a power outage emergency. I like the portable design of this great quality, compact radio. The FM and AM reception is very clear and crystal sharp for a small transistor. I have no problem in picking up local stations, loud and clear - I just rotate the radio for best reception. The SW signals are not receivable during daytime hours, which is very common with most radios. This transistor has very user friendly on/off, volume and tuning buttons. It is also the perfect travel-size portable.
