Practical Teaching: A Guide to Teaching in the Education and Training Sector 2nd Edition

I love this book . It's like a teaching bible. It has got activity's for you to do. Colored photos in. Large print all way through, I found this very helpful as I wear glasses. And most of the other books I've read are very small text. I've just started level 5 teacher training then onto my QTS. Now I've started reading it I can't put it down.

I am using this book at the moment for my DET level 5 and it is so helpful in breaking down each concept. Being a visual learner, I really like the layout of this book-it separates each chapter into sections, with clear tables of examples, sub-headings and uses colour well. If you need something that is NOT plain and boring black and white text and you want to find key information quickly and easily, I highly recommend this book. Each chapter starts with learning objectives and ends with a glossary of terms and summary.

The book arrived fast and undamaged. It had a lot of useful information for doing the teaching course and helped with writing the assignments.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone studying a PGCE it just needs a few extra tips for teaching. This was my go to book whilst studying for my PGCE. It is very easy to understand. The font and text size are easy to read.
