desertcart.com: Berserk Volume 42: 9781506746418: Studio Gaga, Miura, Kentaro, Studio Gaga, Mori, Kouji: Books Review: Great addition - It got me emotional knowing volume 41 was Miura’s last. The story has been through so much and it gives me hope to see Mori continue his legacy. There isn’t as much action in this one but there was a lot more emotion felt in each page. Seeing Guts loose almost made me cry. He’s been through so much and he’s rewarded with even more loss. I loved seeing the character development from the black swordsman arc to where we currently are. He was originally the edgy Midwest teenager coming out of a Hot Topic with a spiked choker around his neck and skinny jeans. Fast forward to a more selfless character who understands the strengths and limitations of himself. While he’s filled with rage and anger, he trust the people around him because he’s only one person. I hope to see this story come to an end sometime, but with the length it takes to produce one chapter, I’d be surprised if I’d even be alive before it ends. It’s truly a piece of work Review: RIP Kentaro Miura - Rip Kentaro Miura. Thank you for this excellent story. One of my favorite manga. Good luck to Koji Moji. I will continue to support and the rest of your team. This story can’t end until Guts gets his revenge on Griffith!!

Continuing Miura's legacy
Miura's work is invaluable for the world of manga and it's a tragedy that he wasn't able to finish his magnum opus. It's a valiant effort that Miura's team, along with his best friend, are continuing his work. It does feel a bit weird at the start but then it picks up. It's still a must for all Berserk fans

Not a single swing.
On the surface I thought there’s no way anyone but Kentaro Miura could tell me how guts was going to cut Griffith in two. But deep down I know there’s almost 35 years of examples, guidelines they are able to follow in order to create a seemingly unnoticeable exchange in story tellers. I believe it’s possible for the team to take their time and prove it’s possible to finish this story. This isn’t a cash grab, or passion project. It’s a promise to your friend and his legacy.…. It’s too big to be a sword…

Mine came slightly damaged 😒 But over all it came on time.

Berserk continues great as ever
The art is absolutely phenomenal still. While the pacing may feel slightly off, it’s important everyone supports berserk post-miura so this continues. We all knew it would take a volume or two for them to find their footing. 42 vastly exceeded my expectations!

The first volume to be released after almost 3 year hiatus. The story of berserk goes in a new direction with the new team. The manga comes wrapped in protective plastic film. The pages are made of course white-grey paper. This volume contains 9 chapters starting from chapter 365.
