The nicotine chewing gums have nicotinne which causes pancreatitis - an inflammation of your pancreas. That inflammation causes irreversible damage to the organ and I was using those gums for about 3 years. I'm on medications now supporting pancreas and gallbladder / liver function due to long term use of those chewing gums. So you should know that if you take the - usse them for a short period of time and if you fail... well... don't take them for years because your guts will give up just like mine. Best wishes.P.s.
