Canada's Records On Walls brings us these unique record frames that are not only very functional, but also very affordable! The Vinyl Record Frame holds single or double LPs and can be installed on any surface. They are super simple to install (just a single screw that holds the frame to the wall), and safely hold your record of choice with a small strip of foam underneath. The records can be easily swapped out by simply sliding the them out and putting a new one in. Buy multiple frames and line 'em up on your wall to show off your most prized vinyl acquisitions.

This is to display records and still be able to USE them
This is a pretty basic product. It's design holds the records in place on the top and bottom, nothing on the sides. This is to allow you to display the record yet still pull the record down when you want to listen to it. It does not look as nice as an actual picture frame, however, I think this has a better use. I find myself changing which records are displayed, I have four of these frames, about every month or so. It's simple enough to do and it allows fresh art on the wall. The actual composition is a cheap black plastic. Nothing super fancy but it gets the job done. There are two screws per frame that come with the product, be gentle drilling them into the wall. It would be easy to over screw the hardware, which would result in the plastic breaking or cracking. I used a screwdriver by hand and was able to get the frame securely in the wall without damaging the frame. Also included is a small strip of foam that goes in the bottom portion of the frame. It keeps the record in place and prevents the bottom of the cardboard sleeves from being scratched on the plastic. These pieces of foam do occasionally slide out when the records are being removed, however they slide right back in, seriously not an issue at all.All in all for what this is, and what it is designed to do it works really well. To summarize, this is meant to be a practical display piece that allows you to still use the vinyl and don't over tighten the screws which will crack the plastic.

Great Item, but quality has gone down over time
I like this item and have to date ordered 15 of them. They are easy to install, display the record well, are quickly interchangeable, and all at a low cost. However when I first started ordering them over a year ago, the package would come with 4 items: the holder itself, the package of screws, and 2 pieces of skinny grey foam to hold the record in place (the holder itself is taller than a standard LP, so it needs the foam to stay centered). By about the 6th or 7th one I ordered, I noticed it only came with ONE piece of foam. I put it on the wall anyway, and the record would regularly fall to the floor without enough support to hold it in.The next several I got were like this, I called the company that makes them directly. The said they would not send me more pieces of foam, and did not seem to care that I wasn't getting all the necessary pieces to make the product work. To date, I have yet to get another one that has two pieces of foam.LIFEHACK: What I've done to fix the problem is when I get a new one, I cut the foam in half. This is still not enough support to hold the record in, so before I place the bottom piece of foam, I stick a pencil in first.tl;dr Product is great, company does not give a s*** that they aren't shipping them out with all the necessary parts.

Turns records into wall art
These record frames are the best solution I have found for displaying albums on your wall while still being able to easily play them at any time. Although they include mounting screws & drywall anchors, I've found that 3M velcro strips work just as well and don't leave any marks/holes in your wall should you decide to relocate them.I'd also like to respond to some of the reviews saying they are too big or don't hold the album snugly enough. I'm not saying you couldn't have received a slightly defective product, but generally speaking they are meant to cover up as little of the album sleeve as possible. The top 'overhang' is just enough to catch the top edge of the cover without being distracting. If they included a piece of foam for the top and bottom, you would have a hard time inserting/removing the album from the frame without damaging it. No, these will not hold your albums in place if you mount them on a swinging door - that's not what they are designed for. Anyway, all in all a great product if not a bit expensive!

Ok Frame
I received this item and it was missing one of the most important items, the foam. This item has three basic ingredients: a plastic frame, two strips of foam, and screws. You essentially mash one side of the record sleeve against the foam at the top or bottom and then push the sleeve back into place between the pieces of foam in the plastic frame. The frame can not function without the foam as it is too large to hold the sleeve on the wall.I received this frame without the foam and screws. I then contacted Amazon.com and the manufacturer, Records on Walls. Amazon would just have me return the frame, however the owner of Records on Walls was super responsive and sent me the foam and the screws. The owner informed me that the product does not come in a bag or anything so I guess these pieces are loose.I still have not actually placed this on my wall with the screws because I change the sleeve in the frame too often. I think I will commit and buy three more of these frames to make a square on the wall and in the case that I have a gatefold I want to display. I most likely will not order this item from Amazon, but I may try the actual manufacturer or an online vinyl distributor. Overall it does what it boasts.

What a great idea!
Although these are "plastic" and not super quality plastic, I am giving them 5 stars for design and innovation. My son collects vinyl and this enables him to turn album covers in to wall art. Very cool concept. Very easy to change out albums (they slide right out) without unmounting the frame or hurting the album cover. Can arrange or group them to suit your taste. He loves them and wants more. I bought him 3. Will probably get him at least 3 more for Christmas. I love going to his apartment and always seeing the "art" on his wall changed up.

Pretty nice for the price
Shipping was quick, and the record frames were packaged quite well. Only reason I give them 4 instead of 5 is that I think they couldve made them to fit the records a bit more snugly. They came with one foam insert each for the bottom rail, but two wouldve made them fit better. Overall a solid product for what they are (black plastic) that look pretty nice.

I like it.
Although the frame does seem a bit big for my vinyls, it still does the job. Looks very stylish for sure. Does not make me feel comfortable with how it barely holds the vinyls though but that is just me. I really like this frame but not love it due to the fact that it is a little big.
