Great hub that 'just works' - has turned my macbook into a true one-wire work station. The 4k@60hz option means that less resolutions, such as 2k (1440p) can run up to 144hz (the limit of my external monitor), and the hub has enough ports to actually be useful, without being clunky. The fixed USB-C cable is long enough to allow you to tuck it behind the laptop, or even behind the monitor if you wanted to - I've had some where the fixed cable was very short so this is an added bonus. The 'screen privacy button' is also...good? I don't have an immediate use for it, but it does instantly kill the video to the monitor without actually disconnecting it, so if you need that sort of thing, I can confirm it works. Hubs like this were 10x the price in recent memory, so for what you can pick this one up for, it's an absolute steal. Note, it does 100w power delivery, but doesn't come with a power supply - any USB-C one will do, though.

I'm very happy with this compact unit after using it for a couple of weeks. It's well made and does it's job very well. The USB C Power Delivery is on spec and all the other ports are excellent, I haven't detected any noise coming across my audio system, so another tick there. Because of it's versatility and ease of use I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Works a treat, and I do like the HDMI, button that turns the output on and off… However my laptop reports that a ‘low power charger’ has been used when I feed through it. So not passing the full 65w through it, I can live with it, but would have been a five star if not for that

I wanted a small and inexpensive hub to add additional USB ports to my work laptop and one that would connect the monitor and power the laptop. This one is perfect. It has two USB A for my mouse and keyboard and two USB C ports of which I use one for my headset. It has an HDMI port for the monitor to connect to and a port to plug the laptop charger into. Now the good points. It works without being powered. That is the laptop charger does not need to be turned on for the mouse and keyboard to work or for the display to be extended to the monitor. I also am using the 65W charger that came with the laptop and it charges it fine. I don’t need to buy an additional 100W charger (I guess this could also depend on what accessories are plugged into the hub). I would definitely recommend this hub.

I did a whole bunch of testing of the various different ports with a number of different drives, including a Samsung T7 1TB SSD (up to 1,050 MB/s transfer speed), a Crucial X8 2TB SSD (up to 1,050 MB/s transfer speed), and a Samsung 500GB SATA SSD. It looks like the limiting factor in these tests was not the USB hub, as I got roughly the same speeds for the drives plugged into the Hub as I did when plugged directly into the actual USB-C port on my computer. However, I have proven that the hub supports higher transfer speeds by testing the Samsung and Crucial drives at the same time. There was a small performance loss, but not much and overall data transfer speeds were higher than I got when I tested just one drive at a time, or when testing one drive plugged into the computer's USB-C port. See the picture for details. The build quality is good, and I thought this was good value for money. I cannot comment on the charging capability, because I don't have a high powered device that will utilise the full 100W PD, but it seemed fine for lower powered laptops.

I paired it with a USB-C to USB-C female-to-male connector which works great for extending the reach. Having HDMI to my monitor, ethernet when WiFi is iffy, SD card reader, and power delivery all running simultaneously without throttling is exactly why I chose this over cheaper alternatives. ✅ The Verdict This is the kind of product that does its job properly and doesn't pretend to be something it's not. If you need a proper USB-C dock that actually delivers on its specs, grab this. Highly recommend it.

I had to send back a more expensive dock as it died on me after 3 months use. So I decided to go for this. A cheaper option with less ports. Truth is, this has more than enough ports for what I need it for. And so far, so good. It works fine when I connect it to my laptop.

Very good performance and looks great

I've had issues in the past with USB-C hub / adapters. Wasn't expecting much from this one but it's been great - runs my 4K screen from my little MacBook Air M3, and occasionally an external hard drive. Has worked flawlessly so far.
