Perfect size
I purchased these to use as "tie downs" on my curtains. My cats think it's amusing to pull the curtains down and sit in the window. Well big surprise for their little sneaky selves...these worked perfect and they can no longer do that! And they look pretty doing it! Sturdy. Nice color. Easy to handle because of the large size. I would recommend to anyone.

Excellent! Perfect for my need
I purchased these large decorative pins for my hexagon gazebo curtains. We have gusting winds in Lake Elsinore CA. I also purchased beautiful brown bow and the pins look great for my decoration. Very sturdy and easy to use.

Not bad for blankets
While these are a little thin and are only colored metal (not brass), they'll work for my intended purpose - bushcraft blanket roll management. I'll be pinning two doubled wool blankets together into a for a sort of rustic sleeping bag. They'll bend a bit if you're not careful. Not as sturdy as I'd like, but serviceable.

I use these as a shawl pin
I like these for shawl pins. The two part ones with a pin and plate style often come apart at just the wrong time. These stay secure. I also lurk like a drooling vulture at the local thrift stores for wool items that people have inadvertently felted down to my size. You would be surprised. Then these pins are often my best bet for securing those. Now if I could only find WOOL leggings. Down the amazon rabbit hole I go!

Great for preventing mattress topper from sliding around (just gotta tape them closed)
So I was getting annoying with my foam mattress topper gradually sliding down and to the left every day forcing me to yank it back into place from underneath a tucked in sheet. I saw someone on a discussion forum mention using safety pins, so I figured I would try these out. I have several going across the top and right side of my bed, and the topper has barely slid since then. Every week or so, I slide the topper maybe an inch just to relieve pressure on the pins.I did notice when putting them on that the pins would sometimes open up from the tension, so i wrapped some gaffer tape around the end of each one to keep them closed. It's under the bedsheet, so who cares how it looks.

Love these pins!
I bought these to hold several robes in place. All my robes have belts/ties but the belts don't really help much with the tops of the robes, especially when I'm doing things around the house on chilly winter morning. These pins are the perfect solution! I keep one or two in the pockets of my robes and use them to keep the tops of my robes from falling open. They're also handy to keep my towel around my upper body (and another towel on my head) after a shower while I'm getting my clothes ready to wear.

Great for Crafts and Similar Projects
Word of caution: If you're going to use these pins on valuable keepsakes...DON'T! They will leave a hole in them. These are sturdy and can be used to keep pillowcases tied; quilting; and kilts. Very sturdy and I use them in various craft projects.
