Best headphones currently
After little over a week of usage, I gotta say its earned 5 stars. Its the best pair of headphones ive owned, the active noise cancelation is the best, its loud when wanted and quiet when needed. The bass as well is actually amazing. The battery life is sub par but that's because I have ambient and the adaptive noise cancelation most of the time, head tracking, and all the features that reduce battery life faster, which was by my choice. I love how fast it charges and how I can swap from my phone, to my tablet without going into settings and just playing audio and it swaps. It looks amazing, it fits very good for me and is comfortable, its worth the price as its cheaper than on the official Samsung website, I love its functionality with "play music" "stop music" etc without activating any voice assistant is amazing I love the pressure button for volume and media control. Functionality is great, fit, wonderful, features, more than needed, looks, amazing with the lightbar, durability from videos online, best to get a case for it. I love the wireless charging for it via a charging puck or my Samsung device.

Impressive sound and total comfort
I bought these Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and they completely exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is incredible: powerful bass, clear vocals, and perfect balance across all types of music. The noise cancellation works wonderfully and truly isolates you from your surroundings, ideal for work, the gym, or simply relaxing. They are very comfortable even after wearing them for hours, the battery lasts a long time, and the connection with my phone is fast and stable. Furthermore, the design is elegant, and they feel very high quality.

Upon unpacking these slim, shiny earphones that are the color of silver you will definitely notice the amount of effort Samsung has put into designing them. The redesign of the comfort fit means that these buds will stay intact even during the most rigorous workouts or prolonged listening to of music. The design of the headphones follows the contours of the head enhancing on noise cancellation thus providing the user with toch sound without interruption. When it comes to sound, and you will be hard pressed to find a better set of true wireless earphones than the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. The end product is clear and dynamic sound that is at par with wired headphones’ experience. This is complemented by the noise cancellation function integrated into these earphones. Even when all you need is to listen to your music/library, or if you have a work/business to attend to, you can exercise the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro noise cancellation feature. Review of ear bud cover, case and app only. Not a review on sound quality because of defect.
I am seriously freaked out. Do you remember the Star Trek movie where the nasty green bug is put into the prisoner's ear? If so you will understand. I have narrow ear canals and found that the medium ones which it comes fitted with were a bit too large. It was difficult to get them removed and yes I followed the directions and watched video on how to do it. One of them came off finally so put the small one on, again as directed. I put it in the ear and it felt odd. I removed it and you can guess what happened: the bud cover remained in my ear canal. Thank heavens someone was home to help me get it out because I was seriously panicking! In 25 plus years of wearing ear buds, I have NEVER had this happen. If it had, I would never wear them again because obviously "yuck bug"! The ear bud covers themselves are very odd. They are very thin and the one I couldn't get off felt as if it would rip if I pulled harder.......which is good given that the one I changed felt secure and basically fell off in my ear. There are only 3 pairs total, small, medium and large. With this price point I anticipated more covers as with my Masters & Dynamic earbuds there were several pair in each size. I can see why they don't want you to change the covers often but even with cleaning, my experience has been that eventually you need to replace them and here you would need to purchase another one in your preferred size. They simply don't compare to my M & D ones at all. I waited on the charging case to turn green which again per instructions would mean they were both fully charged. It ended up with only one charged and the other one completely dead. Again comparing them to the M & D ones the case is simply inferior. On mine there is a light for each ear bud and one for the case itself. That way you can see if all 3 pieces have a complete charge. You can also tell from the app the percentage of charge remaining which is a handy favor. (I don't know if the Samsung app provides that information or not because didn't get to that point, but it should show on the case itself.) The case is okay. It doesn't feel nearly as sturdy as my M & D ones, nor does it look anywhere near as good. I really don't care how it looks if they work, but it is a nice feature to have a case that looks like an expensive car does, one which you can immediately tell by the look and the feel that it is extremely well made. My security app on the phone identified the Samsung app as being dangerous, so I am going to uninstall it immediately. Samsung usually does well with its app. It was only because I have loved my Samsung phones, watches and televisions that I decided to give these a try. The ear buds sound like they have potential but are not up to the standards I would expect as the "pro" version from Samsung. I have lost feeling on the ends of some of my fingers due to nerve damage in my neck which is why I have stuck with M & D for years. They have wonderful mechanical buttons which I can easily manipulate. I was willing to give these a try because while not mechanical it wasn't the universal one button which I hate as I can never tell if I have pressed it the requisite number of times and end up advancing a chapter, turning them off, ending a call, etc. These may be wonderful but as I knew I was returning them I didn't take the time to figure out the controls....plus to be honest I didn't want to put them back in after the bud cover came off! I spent hours yesterday reading reviews because I couldn't decide which pair to try between the Samsung, Bowers & Wilkin and Sony. I like to purchase on prime days or other sell days because of the cost. As I loose things all too often, I try to get the best price I can. Having really good hearing and blessed with the curse or gift of hearing anything that is out of tune, I found early on that I detested cheap ear buds. I still love my Shure buds that are wired, but it is a pain to have the dangling cord all the time. I paid a fortune for them in 2000 and they still sound better then any blue tooth ones I have ever tried, but I figured that would be the case. I listened to the sound on the charged one but that is not a fair test so I am not commenting at all on the sound. I think Samsung has the right idea, but in going for so many features, they have skimped on some elements and cut corners on the basics which you need to make any of the rest of it worth your time. I may try again if changes are made but right now these fail. I mean when the case shows green you would assume both were charged and that failed, you can see there are going to be issues right away.

Top tier
I am using the headphones with my Galaxy S24 Ultra, iPhone and MacBook. I have owned the galaxy buds pro 1 and 2. I've also had the Airpods pro 2 and 3. I have also use the NothingEar buds which are great that my girlfriend owns. Design wise I'm not a fan. I opted for the Grey but it's a little too shiny for me. I would have preferred black or matte Grey if they made it to be more discreet. The case looks nice although slightly larger than what I'm used to. The earbuds seems to fit okay but does tend to fall out or loosen up when talking a bit more than other earbuds of the past. Sound wise it is pretty good. It's not my favorite all around but the sound quality is very good for calls and music alike. It really shines with high fidelity music file like that which you can find with Qobuz. It very niche but these headphones pairs very well with that app for an exceptional listening experience. The bass is clean and never too heavy or boom even with a bass boost on but definitely noticeable. If you're a bass head you might feel these are a little lacking. The bass on the buds pro 2 felt stronger. Anc works great especially in adaptive mode to block out sounds but still leaks in some sharp sounds if you're in a noisy environment like nyc. The feature set is robust and top tier especially for Samsung users. The equalizer really helps you dial in your sound preference for individual apps, 360 audio can be useful on content that is difficult to hear by spacing out sounds and make mono recorded content more pleasant. The interpreter feature is also fun to use when it works. There's a lot of different types Spanish speakers in NY and it does it's best to pick up what they're saying. Battery life is trash if you are using it's more robust features like UHQ, ANC, 360 audio. It will survive at least half a day but keep a charge nearby if you plan to use these most of the day. Overall these are great when caught on a discount. I got them at $159. I'm not a fan of the stem but I can overlook that for the quality Qobuz streaming. I prefer the styling of the galaxy buds pro but really enjoy the features of this one. Top tier.

Best sound and fit in the series, but the AI is a bit "too smart"
I’ve used almost every iteration of the Galaxy Buds, and the Buds 3 Pro are a massive step up in terms of hardware. The soundstage is wider and the call clarity is the best I’ve experienced on a pair of stems. The Pros: The Fit: They feel more secure than the previous 'bean' or 'bud' shapes. I can wear them for hours without ear fatigue. ANC Performance: The Active Noise Canceling is top-tier. It easily drowns out low-frequency hums like plane engines or office chatter. Sound Quality: Crisp highs and a punchy bass that doesn't feel muddy. The One Con: If you like to sing along to your music, turn off the Voice Detect/Adaptive mode. The AI is so sensitive that it thinks I’m trying to start a conversation whenever I sing a lyric, and it immediately lowers the music volume. It’s a great feature for an office, but a total buzzkill for solo jam sessions. Verdict: Incredible hardware. Just be prepared to dive into the Wearable app settings to customize the AI features to your liking.

Its A YES from Me Dawg
Actually worth the price. The pinch function works great, the ANC is great, the volume is spectacular, and they fit in my ear for my 6 mile run today and didn't fall out even remotely (despite that i sweat a lot). The case is compact and everything is very well built, although the case feels a bit "plastic-y". Just be cautious with that. They are pretty comfortable as well, the M size nibs fit for me. The connectivity is of course very quick and took me less than a minute to set it up right. No fooling around with EQs necessarry either- for most. They sound fantastic out the box. If you're a bit of an audiophile like me, you'll appreciate the experience for all genres. I suspect if you like a lot of hip hop/rap/pop/electronic music you may want to hike up the bass and scoop the mids a bit. And for rock/metal/country/jazz/classical these will sound great as is but i lowered the 4k a bit and boosted the 63 and 125 to give it a slight bump in bass still for personal preference. Highly recommend overall, especially if you have a Samsung as it fits well into the ecosystem. No comment on battery life as this is just 1 good day of use, but I'm assuming it will work for my purposes and just need to charge up daily/every other day (if that? Maybe better?) which is okay either way.

These are my best buds! (Get it?)
Wow, wow, WOW. My only regret in not purchasing the Buds 3 Pro for my Galaxy phone and tablet is that I didn't do it sooner. I've used a few different types of buds, from Echo Buds to highly rated Sony ones, and the Galaxy Buds really deliver for me the best of all worlds. First, sound. Wow! Most buds you can hear, and...that's about it. My Sony ones were terrific. But these offer perfect clarity, good bass response, and a real openness to the music (I'm a vinyl record fanatic, so I tend to grimace at the sound of streaming music through tiny buds...not here). Plus the amazing flexibility in sound control...you have many preset EQ setting to choose from, or you can do it manually to tweak how you like. There are even settings optimized for your age range, and an ability to go through a test of sounds for it to set up an optimal listening experience based on your results. I always test buds with "Get Lucky" by Daft Punk, and I was very impressed. Clear bass and midrange, and even a sense of space in the music! These also offer the best active noise cancelling I've yet heard with ear buds. None have been "dead silence" all around, but even leaving my house and standing under a noisy garage door opener, seemed only a few of the high frequencies barely skipped through. You can also opt for ambient sound, or an automatic switch, so they'll go from ANC to ambient if a siren approaches or someone speaks to you. Ear bud fit is always something that gives me "fits", and these come with other tips you can switch out for best sizing, but right out of the case, they were comfortable and felt like nothing was there. So much so I worried they might be too loose, but several vigorous head shakes later and they were secure, so I had both a sense of confidence in fit, as well as a little dizziness from head shaking. You can control the buds by the stems if you wish, and controls are customizable. A squeeze can answer a call or skip a song, and a simple slide with your finger up or down can control the volume. The case charges wirelessly or with USB. Like most bud cases, the center of gravity is too high so they tend to tip over when the lid is open. It seems to charge fast. I'm not much of an expert on battery life, but I know my Sony ones lost a lot of power quickly. I took a 20 minute walk with the Galaxy Buds fully charged, volume at a good clip, and music constantly playing, and when I got done, they were at 91%. I mainly decided to try these because the battery life in my Sony buds was getting a little troubling. I'm glad I did. I can't speak to how these will work for you if you don't have a Samsung ecosystem, but for me, the incredible sound, comfort, and ease of use and customization really make the Galaxy Buds stand out!
