This incense stick holder design is modelled on the shape of the leaf of a cherry tree. It is the first line in what I hope will be a representation of Scotland's native tree species and a tribute to the beautiful land I was so lucky to have been born in. As an avid incense user myself, I have developed this joss stick holder to be both practical and elegant. The bowl shape holds the ash well and keeps it off the table (or windowsill!) and the beauty of the wood speaks for itself. I have finished the incense burner with linseed oil to give a very tactile item that is a joy to hold in the hands. The incense burner is 16.5cm (6.5") long by 6.5cm (2.5") wide by 2cm (3/4") high.
