Native Unearthed Deodorant Balm is an effective natural deodorant blended with a mixture of plant ingredients which are carefully selected to keep you fresh and without odour. The Vegan formulation is designed to provide odour protection without interfering with the natural perspiration process which is a normal bodily function. The deodorants are made in small batches and therefore not all batches will be the same. The consistency and textures might vary however this does not impact on the effectiveness of the product. We do not add wax to the products and therefore in warm weather the deodorants might become a liquid consistency. This does not affect its effectiveness and advise that you place in a cool dry place away from sunlight.

This is not an antiperspirant
This is the best natural deodorant product I've tried. Remember, it is not an antiperspirant, but I do find that it does help with perspiration better than other natural products I've tried. I live in the South with high humidity and heat, so I find reapplying midday is helpful with those conditions. No odor issues (if you have odor issues with this product, check into armpit detox at wellness mama). I bought the Coconut and Vanilla for my sister and she was very happy with the product - again - it's not an antiperspirant. The arrowroot powder does seem to absorb some of the moisture, so again, reapplying midday when weather is hot or it's a stressful day is helpful. There are no harmful chemicals in this product which is a huge win. Scents are pleasant and subtle, not overwhelming. I have both sage & lavender and coconut vanilla - both are great!

Effective + Sensitive skin approved
I find applying with a metal cosmetic spatula is best and applying it horizontally and not vertically along the armpit is easier. Spreading it from one clump on my skin to the rest of the area I want covered. Warming it up a little might help just with your fingers first. You gotta practice with it for sure to find how to apply it for you. The smell is light and nice. It works for 24+ hours for me on shaved and unshaved pits. No sensitivity issues for me, and I have a ton of chemical and food allergies and sensitivities. I would like to see it come in a plastic-free cardboard push container; I think that would be easier than a spatula and jar for application.

Difficult to apply
This product is ok, but the consistency of it is very thick, making it difficult to apply.

Disappointed in this batch
I have loved this product in the past. Not sure if they changed the product or maybe I just got a bad batch. The jar is crumbly. Does not go on just clumps. This is the first time I have been so disappointed.
