Enoking Knife Drawer Organiser: A Nicely Balanced Look of Style and Practicality
The ScoopThe Enoking Knife Drawer Organiser is designed to keep kitchen knives tidy within a drawer. It features cork dividers, an acacia wood base, and non-slip feet.My Overall SentimentThe Enoking Knife Drawer Organiser features something of a unique design to keeping knives organised (as far as I’m aware). It uses slender cork and rubber dividers to protect sharp knives from damage whilst also keeping them organised in a wooden tray. The tray is made from gorgeous, durable acacia wood that also gives it a little touch of elegance too (I feel), and by preventing knives from touching, the organiser helps maintain their sharpness, including the tips! Knives with very sharp tips can hit the dividers and prevent a smooth insertion but I found that by placing the blade on top of the dividers when fanning them out very slightly meant the knife slotted in easily. All said, I really liked Enoking’s combination of acacia wood with cork dividers, and felt it gave the tray a nicely balanced look of style and practicality - super! What I Liked- Gorgeous, sustainable, solid acacia wood construction (Acacia trees grow rapidly, allowing for quicker replenishment after harvesting, so I’m somewhat surprised this isn’t highlighted at all in the advert!)- Use of cork and rubber dividers to protect knives.- Non-slip base to stop it slipping around the draw.- Easy to use - just pop it in your kitchen drawer then add knives!Advertiser’s Claims Examined"Soft and Flexible Dividers for Protecting Knife" - Agree. The cork dividers are soft and flexible."Design for Your Kitchen Drawer" - The dimensions are correct."High-quality Materials" - The use of acacia wood indicates a focus on quality, durability, and of course sustainability."No Installation and Non-slip Base" - The product is described as ready-to-use with non-slip features.

Excellent drawer knife organiser
Crafted from Acadia wood throughout, the visuals of the drawer are impressive. The wood is uniformly finished, handles are smooth and well rounded and the size of the draw is generous, able to take longer knives without compromise. The knives are held in place with a clever solution, which means you don't have small slots or cut-outs to force the blades into ,, or have a clash with spacers due them not being quite right for your particular knife set. The way it achieve this is to have multiple strips of Cork/rubber material arranged in a block, there may be 5o0 in all, like a card deck, the blades slide between 2 off these strips and are held in place there, as each strip is no more than 2mm wide, it means that blades can be placed in whatever slot you need, allowing for the handles which take up the horizontal distance. It's recommended to have 5 in the drawer, which felt about fine for my use, you may manage a few more if they are smaller blades. It's a very flexible solution but having cork and wood means that you do need to take care in avoiding damp and water.Overall It's a very good design and construction, the only area where I felt if could be better is in areas of finish, the cork strips are held in place by a fixing dowel through the side of the drawer, I realise it isn't often seen but this is in a pale wood which doesn''t fit the cosmetic effect and should have been stained before fitting, it just lets down the overall effect. I have stained it myself to complete the effect. But I am, non the less happy withit and it's in use now,

Well-made and useful
This is an excellent bit of kit that has been put to use straightaway and made a big difference.Over the years, we've collected various knives and utensils that have made the drawer cluttered and it is difficult to find exactly what you are looking for. That is no longer the case as this extremely well-made product fits into the right hand side of the drawer and keep your knives in order and make some easy to find.Another benefit is that it means they aren't scraping and banging into each other so there will be no damage and it keeps your knives in pristine condition. It looks great as well.

Knives not included
Ok, so maybe I’m not au fait with the high quality of Acacia wood, but in all honesty I didn’t read the description fully, and assumed the knives were included, they’re not. But in my defence no picture showed the drawer as being just the drawer, the main photo, and every other shows a full knife set?Maybe for the professionals this is ideal, but to me it’s a £35 wooden drawer to go in a drawer. Had the main photo showed an empty drawer box to store your knife set, I probably wouldn’t have ordered. It’s a good heavy well made drawer, and if that’s what you’re looking for then it’s probably one of the best in terms of quality.

Kitchen drawer organiser
This is a wooden insert to place inside a kitchen drawer to hols your 6 sharpest knives. It is a nice enough piece of wood considering it is going to spend its life hidden away. The knives blades push into a slotted piece of cork that has lots of slots so they can be stored in whatever order you want. The knives shown on the listing are not included in the package. While I cant deny that this is a nice thing I cant help but notice it is overbuilt and consequently over priced for its job hidden away.Unless it is important to you to have such a thing I would suggest cheaper and equally functional dividers are available.Happy to help!

Very smart knife storage solution
Unfortunately I failed to measure correctly, and was just a centimetre or two off from being able to fit this in my drawer (I have another drawer organiser in there for the normal cutlery) so this will now live on my kitchen work area.Looks very well made, and very smart-looking so I don't mind keeping it out.The cork dividers work well and hold my knifes securely without scratching them. The non slip base works very well - it's just four round rubber feet but they do keep it from sliding all over a wet worktop which is handy. Will eventually replace my drawer divider to something slimmer and of the same colour so that this will then fit perfectly!
