Skechers Men's Max Cushioning Arch Fit 2.0-Immense Cruiser Sneaker

I just received these today, after researching the past few months on various supportive running or walking shoes for actual fitness walking I've been doing for a year or two now. Anything from mall walking, to boardwalk and beach walking, to park walks. I bought some other new sneakers recently but they weren't all entirely suitable, including some New Balance Trail Runners (which are good sneakers), and some very light Adidas running sneakers (almost too light). I had some toenail ingrown big toe trauma this past summer, and waited too long to get it treated at ER, but it wasn't serious, but, I also found out going to the podiatrist on follow up, that my feet are a bit flat, at age 56, although not problem feet, otherwise.I'm a regular size 8, not wide in any way at all, and my feet have some flat issues, though not really arch issues. I have been having some fatigue issues after long fitness walks lately, so I had to come up with a good solution and use the inserts as my MD recommended. I usually aim for 1 hr. to 90 min. of walking per session, and I carefully time it, and I try to vary my walk sites most days, and always use very good headphones and music for my walks.However, to continue to do fitness walking, he recommended using good inserts with whatever better sneakers I ended up with, including some Nike Monarchs I've been walking a ton in the past two months or so. Which are also very good, with tons of cushioning. I ended up liking what I read regarding the Skechers Immense Cruisers, and they look great, too. I pulled the trigger, because I was confident with their cushioning, support, arch support, and extra padding that these would be the ideal fitness walking shoe. I put Dr. Scholls heavy duty inserts in them, and I have only worn them for a few hours, but already they are super comfy, and are not giving me any "break in" issues for the first day. I have to go do a good hour or more walk tomorrow, and really test them out, though. So this review isn't a long term one.However, I think I can confidently state that these are outstanding running/walking shoes and are well worth the money, including the great treads on them. I know some Skechers are hit or miss with quality and endurance, they don't always last, but if these last me a year or a bit more, I'll be happy.They also aren't too goofy looking, in the snazzy electric blue motif. It was a toss up with between these, ASIC Gels, or maybe some New Balance trainers. I ended up with the Skechers because they seemed to offer every feature I was looking for, in one shoe, and they aren't $250 Brooks. I considered Brooksand Hoka too, but I'm not running, just walking. So they seemed like overkill. My only complaintso far is that I wish the Skechers had a cushioned tongue up top, but the cushioning all around and inside the shoe is very good. The tongue itself is lightweight, and won't chafe I don't think.I also must note that the local Skechers stores I've visited do NOT stock these shoes, you seeminglymust buy them online, for some reason. Maybe they're discontinued, I'm not sure.

Excelente calzado sufro mucho de Fascitis Plantar y de verdad que mis pies lo agradecen cada vez que los uso Gracias Skechers por los calzados Arch Fit. Ando el dia a dia sin complicaciones. De hecho soy talla 8,5 y la app me sugirio los pidiera talla 9 pero me quedan super bien.

They do what they claim.

I bought them after I got a foot injury and they have been instrumental in me getting back to fitness. They are super comfortable and give great arch support. The fit is perfect and the color isn’t great but it is as shown. That being said it isn’t bad either just not the best I’ve had.

been using for a week now. I can go for longer than 2 miles and my feet feel good. love that they are two shoes in one. so far, no wear on them. the size is right on. My size is a 9 so I order a 9 and they fit perfect.
