These valance sheets are PLATFORM/BASE sheets only, they are not fitted valance sheets, ie, these sheets go over the base of the bed only, they DO NOT also go over the mattress. A platform base valance sheet is placed flat under the mattress, a valance surrounds the base on three sides.

These base valance sheets are of Non-Iron(little or no iron at all), these sheets are easy care, extra durable, long lasting fabric and will last many washes as long as instructions are being followed.
