This is a useful and well-made battery connector kit, comprising two Anderson plugs together with a handle for attaching to the release side. Four coated-copper terminals are included, which can accept cable sizes from 35mm²- 50mm² and handle 175Amp with a 600V maximum input.Anderson connectors are ideal for connecting 'slave' or jumper batteries to, say, starter motors in automotive settings - but are equally useful in marine settings - and I tested this set connecting a large battery pack to a fixed electric outboard motor.For safety and longevity, I used a professional-quality crimping tool to fix the cables to the terminals. In operation, the connectors mated firmly and positively - and during use, there were no signs of loosening or overheating in either connector. The release handle is strong enough to accept a firm pull and make it easy to separate the connectors after use. The pair of supplied dust-proof covers remain fixed to each connector-end and simply snap over the exposed terminals when they are not in use.This is a well-priced, well-made, Anderson-style connector set which is useful for a wide range of temporary or semi-permanent electrical connection tasks.
