The cold mode requires no preheating, while the hot mode needs 3-5 minutes. Overall, it’s a good value for money for what it is and would make a great present.

Order arrived on time, and well packed. Item acquired to be reviewed.There's no thrills with this produce, a very simple on / off with either a cold or hot option. I struggled because I'm used to laminators having a heat control to allow the user to set to work with the difference weight laminating sheets. This has none of that. Does state it hears up to 104 degrees so that's a good bench mark to take into account.Overall it's compact, budget quality, works, and is very simple. Its' presently on Amazon for £17.99 which to me is good value. That said it offers no user input and only handles A4 to less sheets.
