This power stake is a simple solution that helps keep the outlet off the ground and my plugs protected. I love that it has a time on it. This feature is super convenient. It automatically turns your lights on at dusk and off at dawn, so you don't have to worry about remembering to do it yourself. This is especially helpful during the winter months when the days are shorter. It has six grounded outlets, and you can power up all of your outdoor decorations with just one timer. This is great for people like me who have a lot of lights or other decorations that they want to control. The long extension cord gives me plenty of flexibility.

REVISION:I said in my original review that the product had as a memory, so if it is unplugged, it will come back to the previous setting when plugged in again. I am not sure what happened, but now that I use it, I find that it does not have a memory. This may not be an issue for you, unless you use it on a timer. I use it to power part of my holiday decorations. All of the decorations are on a timer, and should all turn on at the same time, when the timer powers up. Unfortunately, this product does not turn on when the timer restores its power; it just sits there, dead, until I go outside and turn it on. This means I have to be present each day when the decorations turn on, so I can manually turn on this product to power some of my decorations. In my case, this renders the product unusable. It is a fine product, as long as you never turn off its power. If you want it on a timer, it will not work.This is a clever unit. It comes with a long heavy power cord, which is unusual and really nice. It lets you plug in six items, and control them with a remote. You can set it to be “dawn to Dusk”, or turn it on and it will turn off after 2, 4, 5, 6, or 8 hours (your choice). Most importantly for me, you can turn it on and it will stay on until you turn it off. It also has a memory, so if it is unplugged, it will come back to the previous setting when plugged in again. This is a great feature. The back is flat, so it can be mounted on a wall, or stuck in the ground with the include stake. We have an elaborate yard haunt for Halloween with a lot of cords running everywhere, and this lets us have a central power location out in the haunt. This is a big help.

Now that blow up decorations have taken over the yards for Halloween and Christmas, put this on your must have list. It's a very convenient power hub that will drive 6 different inflatables all while having a timer function as well. The 50ft main cord is AWESOME, especially with the larger front yard we have. It keeps me from having to run some insanely dangerous combination of extension cords and keeps things nice and tidy. Not to mention that if I do have to sneak a lawn mow in there, it's pretty easy to just move the one thing.I love it too much to knock a star for it but... the ground stake is... barely ok. We've got sandy soil so it works well here but if I still had the clay like soil I had at my old house I'd probably break it pretty quick. Go easy on it so you don't snap it off if you're wanting to use it. It's worth mentioning that because of the mounting options you can easily create your own wooden stake and mount this to that instead of using the flimsy plastic one... That makes a big difference!

Use this for my string lights and security cameras. It’s pretty great and has held up perfectly through more than a handful is heavy thunderstorms. The stake used to go in the ground is thin trash though. Didn’t take much for it to snap. Other than that it distributes power perfectly.

This is a great outdoor power box. We got it to use with our lawn decorations and its perfect. Its got a built in timer that can be set to come on when it gets dark and go off when the sun comes up so its really ideal for decorations like that

I ordered the 50ft with remote and I was just sent the standard 50 ft, no remote.

Excellent outdoor indoor multiple outlet it's functional good size very easy to use so far so good and no complaints.
