SANDMARC Pro Filters for DJI Mavic Air - ND4/PL, ND8/PL, ND16/PL, ND32/PL Filter Set (4-Pack)

These filters snap on fairly easily, and don't appear to degrade the optical quality of the Mavic Pro's lens. Once installed, you'll need to do a gimbal calibration, or the horizon line will be ~2-3 off (tilted), and when you fly without the filter, you'll need to recalibrate the gimbal again, or the horizon will be tilted. If the drone is placed on a perfectly flat surface, I had no trouble with the gimbal calibration. If placed on a slanted surface, the calibration would fail. These make a stunning improvement to image quality (less blown out sky and white highlights, and better shadow detail). Having only tried the ND filters, and I can't imagine shooting outdoors without them.

I got these for my MAVIK PRO and they are perfect...!!! I know there are a bunch of options, but these were perfect for the $... They mount right on and have a little foam lining that makes them feel nice and cozy when you put them on...!! and then they dont feel like they will fall off either. one time in about 20 of flying with it, did i have the gimbal say it was over loading, but I just turned everything off and madesure the filter was on even (if you have it off slightly during calibration it will get caught and wont rotate fully, but this is an easy fix.. just push it on a little harder..) Great Filter, the little white box they come in even fits perfect in the front pocket of the little DJI bag the drone came with..!!! I highly recommend these little guys.. So far so good! Used them several times now. Absolutely a must have for daytime footage. Simply install, set your exposure level and you're good.FYI, you want install the filter that will provide you with enough light reduction so you can get your shutter speed down to 1/100-1/125. This will help alleviate moire and flickering in footage. (Your shutter speed should never be more than 2x your frame rate).

These appear very well made. Nicely crafted. Something I didn't find out until after I had started a return on these: You have to unscrew the clear lens filter on the Pro4 / Advanced / Pro4+ cameras. The thread on clear filter is unscrewed and then you can attach these filters. The gimbal automatically compensates for the weight difference.

When I first received these lenses I was a little upset as two of the lensession didn't fit right on the camera. After speaking with a representative of the company they advised perhaps I had received a defective set. Within three days they had a brand new set of lenses out to me and they all worked perfect. I have never had such great sutomer service and will shop with them again !

I've tried a few brands of filters on a few kinds of drones. These fit the P4P very well, they are very clear and the color is what it is supposed to be: neutral. I do commercial still and drone photography and I don't hesitate to use these for the important aerial shots. If you do a lot of filming and or photos these are nice filters to have.

Does the job. Fitting on some are a little loose, but still stayed on the unit while operating. Used the darkest filter because it appeared to be the best in terms of enhancing color. The lighter filters I don’t see a use for. Maybe on a cloudy day? Or just to protect the gimbal screen maybe worth it.

Would have given it a 0 review, but not an option. These filters are not filters at all. They are nothing more than tinted glass. The ND16 filter barely performs like an ND4 at best. The polarizer is simply flat plain glass and when you rotate the lens is shows no polarization change. Should have known to stick with PolarPro like I did for my other 2 drones.

I bought a set of these for use with my Phantom 4 Pro and am very happy with them.The Neutral density filters don't leave a nasty colour cast like some other brands (both cheap and expensive) so are totally recommended.On the other hand, i see no real need for a circular polariser on a drone

Great, put the 16 on a sunset, not that bright and already highlights still blowing out even turning exposure comp to -2. I think I still need to buy a ND 32, shame it did not have that also.

These are good, the gimbal balances fine and my only regret was not getting the polarised versions. The box is big but I've cut extra holes for some 32 and 64 ND filters

These are the best filters I’ve ever used. Still use them Dailey after a year in testing. Will not use any other brand now

These make my mavic much more usable in sunlight allowing for the right shutter speed and iso.They’re also much easier use compared to others with the larger rims on either side allow for attaching them without getting marks from your fingers plus it’s more secured into the camera itself too.
