Works really well, it gets 4 stars instead of 5 because the inside night vision just plain sucks. I reviewed the video and other than myself in the front seat, the people in the back are just engulfed in shadow. (I am a ride-share driver) Yes I have the night vision on, when I put my hand close to the camera I see the infrared light or whatever it's emitting make things brighter on the screen, but while driving around at night nothing can be seen inside my car. The forward facing camera is great, with the headlights it is able to get a clear enough picture if I ever needed to use the video.It's acceptable because I have it recording audio, and the lights inside the car come on when the doors are opened. So I'm able to get at least a few seconds of video showing the persons face and audio for the whole ride, in case there was ever any need of having such video evidence.I have it set to 720p and I can get about 9 hours of video before it starts writing over the oldest video. The SOS button is a great feature too!Overall I'm very happy with this camera, I just wish the night vision worked better.

The camera works good. Be advised you will need to buy a 12v to 5v reducer if you intend to hard wire this into your car. I didn't want the cord plugged into my cigarette lighter so I wired it upward to my map light area and found a 12v when "key on source". The installation looks much cleaner. The voltage reducer was $10 on amazon. I also had to buy a $20 class 10 memory card. I gave the review 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to super glue the plastic end coming off the suction cup to the camera. It kept coming loose while driving down bumpy roads. Not a big deal, I just remove the suction cup and the camera as one whole unit now if I park in an area where I am worried about someone stealing it. It's a great deterrent to have in your car in case someone gets out in a fit of rage and comes to your window, all you have to do it turn the swivel camera on the bottom towards them and tell them they are being recorded. It is a first line of defense before pulling your firearm out. It also works good when you get pulled over, I swivel the bottom camera towards the cop as he approaches my window and l let him know that he is also being recorded. It just keeps everyone on the up and up. I notice I even act better on the roads because I know my actions are being filmed in the cab. My kid even behaves better because I tell him he's being filmed lol.Update 7.30.18: Camera is still working good. The suction cup however would not stay on my windshield in 100+ degree weather in Texas. I finally had to remove the suction cup portion from the circular plastic mount. I put 5 strips of 3M double sided adhesive on my windshield and then super glued the plastic, circular suction cup base (actual suction cup removed) to the 3M. It now stays great in all weather conditions. I also chose to super glue not only the portion that goes into your camera but also the swivel portion as well. Basically, I would recommend super gluing all flexible joints. This created a much more rigid mount and now the camera does not sway or move when going over rough roads in my truck. The only down side is that my camera is now permanently mounted to my truck so I can't take it down in bad neighborhoods.

I ordered this to have a forward facing and rear (adjustable) facing camera for traffic stops, plus the option to add GPS capability, or whatever else I may need a second lens on. Aside from the good reviews, it is nice to see that the company is actively monitoring customer needs and answering prospective customer questions on a regular basis.Everything works right out of the box, and set-up was not difficult. I ordered a Sandisk class 10 micro SD card, formatted it with the camera, and it worked without any problems. This unit is designed to turn on upon starting the vehicle, and shut off when the vehicle is turned off. I needed something that would continue recording after the vehicle is shut off, and there are very few, if any, other units that allow that option right out of the box. A supplemental power feed is necessary to achieve this. However, I found that this unit will keep recording after vehicle shut down by using one of my vehicle's uninterrupted constant power feeds. The only caveat is that I need to remember to turn the camera off manually each time I turn off the vehicle, and then manually turn it on when I start it back up. Not a problem for me per se, but may be notable for others.If necessary, I will update this review after some substantial time and use has occurred.

I like products with highly intuitive interfaces. This product isn't intuitive. Provision must assume most people don't read instructions, because they are woefully inadequate to be helpful. It's much easier to turn on the unit and test different buttons until you happen on the sequence that you are looking fore.Make no mistake, it does what I wanted it to do - record the road in front of me.So, from that perspective it was a successful purchase. Plus, it was cheaper than some of the other options with dual camera mode.

My PR-2400CDV has suddenly stop working, in the book it says to push the reset button, is the reset button a shadow button? Also the battery indicator never stops blinking, what can I do?For the price that I paid for this unit I do not recommend to anyone to purchase it.Thanks.
