It worked but took its time. But like all of the algae killers you have to keep an eye on the filter does not get blocked.

Use as supplement with garlic
Tip from Malta sea life, add this in small dose with garlic water every week. My fish tank and fish looks stunning and clear water

A fabulous product
The dreaded black algae turned up in my aquarium, however using this had a speedy resolution to the problem. Very easy to use, it did not affect the my water clarity at all, in fact it actually enhanced the appearance overall. For speed and functionality this product is the best I have used, and had fabulous results.
