The Legacy Chronicles: Trial by Fire

I loved the 7 books of Number 4 series and bought this to get more sides stories while reading the Generation One sequel. Great characters, but the writing of these three novellas is rushed and at times sloppy. I don't want to include any spoilers, but lets just say that scenarios that seemed to be minor obstacles near the end of the first series are now deadly difficult here. Generation One and Fugitive Six are better books, so get those first. Still, I will read the next collection of Chronicles.

If you liked the I am four series, this sequel series continues the legacy no pun intended ;)

Nice book for a 16 year old. My son likes these type of books and this genre works him and he is 16. Highly recommend.

I absolutely loved this book. I love this series. Six and Sam are so cute together and so badass! I can’t wait until Chasing Ghosts. It’s on kindle but I’m waiting for the paper copy.

The I am number 4 series is excellent and this one is no exception! The book came to me in excellent condition.

Really fun supplemental read if you want more Lorien stories while waiting for the next release!

Feels like this wasn't written by Pittacus Lore.. If he were a real person. Had a different vibe to it. And the dialogue was different to the original series.. But as far as the story goes, it was good.

I find the book okay. The adventure was kind of fun to follow, especially because of the new Human Garde, but otherwise Six and Sam seemed way to much out-of-character (which was a big disappointment).I give only 3 stars because there was nothing really new about the story. If you‘ve read Generation One and Fugitive Six, you know what I mean. The whole point in writing a spin-off is to give the reader more information about what‘s happening in the background of the main plot. After reading Trial by Fire, I‘m more confused then before! Some plot twists make no sense at all and in the end, Six and Sam are at the exact same spot they‘ve started.I loved the scenes with Nine and Lexa, I thought they were the only ones in this book who did what you expect them to do. And even though I miss John and Marina, I‘m glad they made no appearance in the story! Because otherwise this would‘ve turned out even more stupid...

Me encantaron la historia de esta recopilación que narra las aventuras de Seis i Sam, fue interesante ver cómo se enfrentan a otra organización que busca a la Garde como herramientas de entretenimiento a diferencia de la Fundación que buscan controlarlos para sacar beneficio, lo recomiendo si quieren darle seguimiento a las aventuras de estos dos contra el bajo mundo
