Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV).....Centuries Old (Health) Food Supplement
ACV is a well-regarded (health) food supplement. And modern science is still unraveling its "secrets." For now, all agree that ACV slows down the absorption of carbs (sugars) thereby affording (some) weight control benefits.I take it every day: in the morning and, sometimes, also in the evening. 2 tablespoons in a glass of water (w/ a tablespoon of honey) does the trick. My reason for taking it is not so much weight control (although, that helps), but for gallstone(s). ACV helps reduce/prevent colicky pains. It is known to counter bile (and soften gallstones) so that explains its mechanism of action.ACV when taken at night also arguably helps promote sleep. So, what's to complain. As a salad dressing or if consumed when dissolved in water you can't go wrong with ACV.
