I loved roller boots when I was a kid so I wanted to get these so my kids could have the same experience. I chose a size large so am glad they are adjustable as the smallest setting just about fits. The bonus to this is the growing space which means they should be good for a couple of years, providing they don't wear out first. Luckily, they come with a spare stopper as we all know these can wear down quite quickly if used often outside.The boots need lacing before use and the adjuster is easy to do by pressing a button on the side before sliding in or out according to size. You then just tighten the straps at the front of the ankle and secure the velcro before they are ready to rock and roll!The wheels turn nicely and roll fairly easily, although so far they have only been tried on a laminate floor surface. The boots are attractive and of course, they light up when rolling, which the kids love.We've had a pair very similar before and I would say quality-wise, they are fairly similar but the others offered slightly more support around the ankle as they were higher up the leg. That doesn't make much difference though and these still promise to be a good roller boot that should last a few years. 4/5
