Okay, so this is a simple product, and it is fine.I can't really tell if it is the same as factory, mostly because the factory one I have is 16 years old and has been heavily sun baked.Hence it needing replaced.My only real complaint is that this is fake leather (PU) while the factory boot is real leather.The color looks correct, installation is easy. It literally just pops in.I already have an after market shift knob, so the ring that is suppose to connect to the knob is not a thing for me.But overall it looks good, and it isn't faded and cracked.*edit to add photo and show, with my Bullitt the throat is rather wide and doesn't connect to the shaft at all. The factory boot is in fact tight to the shaft. I understand that if you have the standard Mustang shift know this might be fine, but with the Bullitt, it uses a much narrower throat, and this is rather large.It also loses the grey trim, which I personally like.Also, after driving with it for a little now, I will probably change back and look for a different alternative, because I am constantly touching this loose ring.Maybe specifically list the Bullitt Trim as not compatible.
