Q: what is the best way to clean ceramic rods afte time when they get dirty look (from white to brown type)

Unscrew and take them out. Ensure you keep the nut and washers safely. Wash the rods in plain water first to remove the top dirt. Next using a kitchen scourer and a kitchen detergent clean the rods to remove the grime and wash off the detergent. They should look clean and white now. Let the rods dry in the sun for a couple of hours. Fit them back. Repeat every 2-3 months depending on water conditions.
