Very pretty but opening mechanism sticks
I have a very similar piece to this with a slightly smaller blade and when I press the release lever on the back it springs open immediately. Still, with this one the lever will cause the blade to spring forward sometimes and other times it barely pushes forward on release and I have to grab it by the sides to get it to open all the way. The style of the piece is very nice and the blade is sharp but the release is a bit annoying.

Very good budget knife!
This review is for the SHAN ZU Peafowl 3.2 inch folding knife.I collect knives as a hobby. I was excited to see this one available for review, but was hesitant to try a new low cost brand. I am pleasantly surprised!I have many folders from brands like: Andrew Demko, Chris Reeve, Medford, Quiet Carry, Spartan Harsey and Zero Tolerance. To be very clear, this knife does not compete with those knives. I also donāt think it compares to more expensive Civivi knives.I do think this knife is an excellent value. The bearings and flipper tab make it fast and easy to open. I own very few knives with liner locks. It just isnāt my thing. The liner lock on this knife is really nice and easy to use. Lockup is solid. This is probably the standout feature of this knife. It is the nicest liner lock I can remember on any knife.14C28N is not a āsuper steelā. It is however a good budget stainless steel. No shame there. The G10 looks nice with what looks like embedded burnish gold colored foil. The texturing is comfortable to hold and handle. The shape of the knife and the location of the flipper tab once the blade is deployed makes the knife feel very secure in the hand. I wear XXL gloves. I found the knife to be very comfortable. My wife (a former marine) also commented immediately on how comfortable it is in the hand. The light jimping on the back of the blade is comfortable then applying pressure on the spine of the blade for push cuts.I cannot say how sturdy the black coating on the blade is. It is very smooth and adds to the knifeās appearance. The detent is crisp and well executed. The blade has no side-to-side play. The product listing is a bit over the top, as is common with low cost stuff from over seas. I would have never bought this knife based on the product listing. Typos, obvious exaggerations and factual errors detract from a well executed product. So what do I think the knife is good for? It is good for collecting. My wife thought is looks awesome. She likes black blades and she thought this knife looked great, was easy to use and super comfortable. She wants me to give it to her for her collection. If not, she said she is going to order one for herself. Like me, she was impressed with the value. The blade is thin, so it is an excellent slicer. Perfect for EDC. I love knives that come with deep carry pocket clips. This one tip up, right side carry only.Side wise, it is about the same size as a Spiderco Delica, just heavier (this one has steel liners). This is not a āhard useā knife. The blade stock is thin, and like Spiderco knives, the big hole in the blade weakens them. Also, 14C28N is not known for itās edge retention. The screws are really tiny. It makes the knife look good, but easy to strip. Thankfully a few extra were included.I donāt want to damage my pristine knife with destructive testing, but the black coating on the blade might not be durable. Only time will tell.

Impressive
For the delving into pocket knives. This is smooth and has only a bit of detent lash that is wearing away quickly. It's sharp and looks great.
