I wanted to apply nice size rhinestones on my face and it did the trick. The rhinestones did have a stick back on them already, but the spirit gum was the perfect touch to make sure they stayed in place all night.

This is by far the best body adhesive I have ever tried, and I have tried many! There is a reason that they say "spirit gum" colloquially, as I have learned that once it is adhered it is not moving! For better or worse! That is why I doubly appreciate that it comes with its own remover, because you will be needing it. I have used it to keep Band-Aids on, to keep body parts where they should be, to say the least, Etc and have no complaints. Especially if you tend to wear more daring clothing and rely on body-safe adhesive, definitely recommend!

This year’s Halloween costume is a bearded Medieval monk. Trouble is I don’t have a beard. So I got a fake beard, but it holds using an elastic band over the ears and behind the head. After careful research, I found that Medieval monks did not affix their beards using elastic on account of elastic hadn’t been invented then. So the net effect was less than realistic.However, with this glue, and snipping off the elastic band, I can stick the beard onto my face and therefore make the costume a lot more realistic. The remover solution does, in fact, remove the adhesive (otherwise I would be stuck with a fake beard way past Halloween). Since I do not plan to have a Santa costumer for Christmas, this adhesive and remover kit is great for Halloween.

Did not hold elf ears. Know they were too heavy. Maybe would work for lighter applications.

Holds very well over the span of several hours, I used on elf ears for a costume. Sweat resistant and durable, but is easy to remove once you use the remover solution.

We used this for a costume moustache and a set of pointy ears. It worked great on the moustache, held like a charm even through some sweat! The take-off was painless-- the remover is low-odor and skin friendly.It loses one star just because it did not work very well on the ears. We did follow the directions but after about 20 minutes one of the ear bases worked its way loose. My thought is that you might need to build up more layers on skin that has a lot of folds and flexes a lot. Or, it might just be that spirit gum isn't ideal for this use case.

used for a bald cap and my whole face has a rash now that I'm being treated for by a dermatologist (cost >$70). no known allergies to anything before this so not sure what the culprit is. seems low quality.Says returnable, isn't.

We’re doing a fancy dress thing and it was either order another ostrich costume or maybe shake off the tuxedo. Of course, fancy dress you need a mask. Now, I typically wear my purge mask to fancy dress. Looks alot like a psychotic bunny from the 1920s with tasteful dried blood running along the sides of his face.His name is Maximillian. But you can call him Maxy. This time Maxy felt he needed a little sprucing up. So I ordered some real hair mustaches and tried a few out.The Errol Flynn style fits him the best. He’s ready for a purge but he could also go get you a glass of champagne. Anything goes with this gent!This spirit stuff works wonders for on and off. And stayed on without any worries. And got off just as well. My rabbit purge mask is leather, of course so YRMV.Happy hunting!
