33-2342 High Performance Replacement Air Filter for Honda Civic

I purchased this for my 2010 Honda Civic 1.8L. Fitting : Installing this air filter is easy as replacing the batteries on your TV remote. Absolutely no need to go to your local mechanic. For Honda Civic owners, there is a simple step by step instruction video on the same. Just search on YouTube. Performance : Low end torque has seen a significant increase, which is exactly what I needed on the Civic. The engine has also become more free revving with revs rising and falling more rapidly. On the old filter, I used to get around 8kmpl, while after slapping in the new K & N filter, I get 9.5. My service is due on the car, and I expect better numbers post a change of Engine oil and coolant. Verdict : This filter definitely makes sense in the long run, simply because you save on the cost of having to purchase a new air filter at every alternate service interval. This is a lifetime use filter that is simply washed and reused, thus you save on the cost of each filter and the associated labour charge which should easily amount to 1000-1200 rupees per service. Add that up to less than 5 times and you get the cost of this filter. There is no doubt that the K & N filter is better for the engine and increases torque as well as mileage. Purely for a lack of more thumbs, its two thumbs up from me. P.S : You get a sweet K&N sticker kit with the fitler. Brought out the inner child in me !!!

Already drove 4000 Km with the air filter installed. Initially the ECU went berserk because of the increased air flow into the engine and the engine warning light was on. I couldn't pass 3500 rpm but after a few km's, the ECU adjusted accordingly and it was back to normal. Low end torque is massively increased, feels like a completely different car. Accelerate above 4000 rpm and drop the cluth from a stand still and the car will do a mini burnout. Most importantly, before the air filter I used to get 7 KMPL but now I get 9.5 KMPL. The cars already done 55000 km. Did I mention that I can now hit 100 KMPH at second gear itself ? What could I ask more ? Increase in performance and in mileage.

Noticeable improvement in the performance of my civic. Strangely enough even my mileage has gone up by around 2 kmpl. My car used to drag along especially in slow moving traffic and it seems like this kit has resolved some of the issues with the low end torque on my AT civic. Now my car feels more sorted in crawling traffic and it's also less tiring to drive in the city. Also drove down to Pune last week and the acceleration has also improved and it's noticeable especially while overtaking at higher speeds. Good product. Recommended!

Ordered this expecting best build quality and some performance gain but after getting delivery I was very disappointed. Product was so oily, it was dripping oil in the package and all over the places.

After being informed by a Honda Dealership that I needed to replace my air filter (and them informing me that they wanted to charge me +$75 to do this), I decided purchase and install this K&N Air Filter in my 2006 Honda Civic EX in an effort to save money. Included in packaging: 1. K&N Filter 2. A sticker to place on your air filter housing that reminds mechanics not to replace and throw away your K&N Filter (the filter is reusable: simply wash, dry, and replace when dirty). 3. Instructions and care information The installation of this filter was extremely easy and took less than 5 minutes to complete (no tools required). Upon installation, I immediately noticed a slight change in performance in my Honda Civic. I am averaging 1-3 additional mpg per fill up after the installation. The true beauty of this filter is that it is reusable. Whenever you are due to change your air filter, simply remove your K&N filter, run water through it in order to remove the dirt build up, and let it dry before reinstalling. Buy this filter and you should never have to replace your air filter in your car again for as long as you own your car ($ saver). If you are not a "do it yourself" type person, I would still buy this filter on Amazon and have your local mechanic install it for you. Shoot...hire me and I will install it for you (sorry I don't come cheap)! Sure this filter is more expensive than most other filters out there, but if you purchase this filter you should never have to replace your air filter ever again. This filter will not only save you money in the long run, but it will improve your mpg performance (roughly 1-3 mpg for me). I highly recommend this filter!

J'ai acheté un filtre à air K&N pour ma Honda Civic essence, et même si la différence est légère, je suis satisfait. À long terme, je pense que cela va me permettre de faire des économies, car il suffit de le laver pour le réutiliser. On ressent également un léger mieux dans la respiration du moteur, ce qui est agréable. Je recommande pour ceux qui souhaitent un produit durable et pratique !

Product is amazing, works really good and will save me some more money in the future since I can just reuse it after cleaning
