Best Canon telephoto EF lens with range of 70-300mm.
Overall build quality is awesome, it's heavier and seems to be on premium side. Produces sharp images even at 300mm. Focus ring is very smooth, zoom lock and display modes are good to have features.Autofocus is very fast as compared to STM lens.

Canon 70-300 F/4-5.6 is II USM Lens ( New)
As expected this lens offers great value for money. The image quality is excellent, focusing speed too is excellent. I use these lenses for wildlife bird photography. The photograph I have posted of a spot-billed duck making a landing was taken with the above-mentioned lens.

Consider the L series also .
This is the upgraded version of a very popular and long standing lens of Canon. hence , the IS -II.The upgrade makes the lens more silent, the nano USM motor is faster focusing and the IS gives you one stop extra stability . Someone looking for a 70-300 and not having to shell out another 60 K for the L series would go for this. But remember, the "tea" photography is as sweet as the amount of sugar u put in it. Do not expect L series quality, depth, colour in this. After 6 months of use, I regret that I should have waited and gone for the 70-300L which costs around 99k. Not only would it have given better pictures because of what I mentioned above, but the cropability would also be more. U see, 70-300 is not too ideal for wildlife hence u need to crop a lot. The L series pictures look better after cropping.But , thats just me.Following pics taken with this lens on a 80D body.

The Best 70-300MM F4 lens that you can you
Really a very sharp image quality edge-to-edge and the AF is lightning quick which also comes with IS. Most of the canon Cameras don't come with IBIS and as a result, the inclusion of IS in this Lens is the real advantage when it comes to shooting subjects at 300MM

Perfect telephoto lens for amateur Photographers like me.
The focusing is faster than lightning and the lens boosts your confidence. Its true that the image quality decreases after 250 mm . but it is very negligible unless you have OCD.If you want a rocking lens with nano USM and good Zoom go for it. If budget is low and you are a fan of manual focus go for 55-250mm IS.
