The fastening mechanism is simple, secure and robust. Being a Victorinox the quality is up there with brilliant fit and finish. It's a companion for a lifetime.Regarding the functions, once tethered to the belt it just won't let go. Beware from the red logo
It's good for edc carry but victorinox should careful about the red swiss logo.It's poor craftsmanship, easily fell off from the clip hanger.Before use you have to put strong adhesive on the logo or just remove and use the belt hanger.
