I could not be more pleased with my purchase! I have a large assortment of digging tools and was surprised to find this high-quality tool/shovel for such a low price! I maintain a low profile at several sites that I visit, and this is ideal. Surprisingly, the sheath holds the bladed digging tool, as well as the extension handle in the same sheath… That seems impossible until you see the clever way they’ve utilize the offset of the blade and handle to conceal the extension handle. The way that the extension handle screws into the very top of the digging tool handle is extremely strong. It takes up no more room than the standard sheath for the digging tool. You can use your shorter portion of the tool normally and add the extension rod to use as a shovel. For covert use, or during an hunt in the park when you come across rocky soil you can quickly screw in the extension handle and convert it to a shovel. I’m surprised I have not seen more written about this digger in the metal detector Facebook pages. I believe you’ll be extremely happy with this purchase… I’m likely to purchase a second one to keep as a spare.

This thing is TOUGH. Not only does the extended handle give me more leverage, its design makes sliding it into the dirt a breeze and digging anything up almost effortless.Its carrying case is supper handy and can be attached to a belt loop for easy carry alongs!

Unpacked and ready to go. Like the fact that it has extended handle even though I am not sure if I'll need it. Shovel seems sturdy but we will see how well it holds up in the field. Will have to write updated review after being used for a while. So far, would recommend. Update: Did a good job with digging. Held up good and seems sturdy.

I love it! Quality is actually understated in the ad. It feels powerful, like it should be with a ninja or navy seal as constant companion. I have named mine Excalibur!Best tool i have seen in maybe EVER. I did not expect this. Worth twice the price!I'm ready for action! Camping, gold prospecting and rock hounding. I'm sure there are a number of high quality metal detector digging tools on the market and the Pancky has to be among them. A well constructed tool that will get you through most soil situations. Doubt the Pancky will ever bend or break while digging. It's sheathed in a well made holster for attaching to your belt for easy reach and it comes with a 7 1/2" extension for a total length of 19 1/4". The hand guard at the top of the blade will allow you to dig using your foot. While it won't take the place of a shovel, it's nice to have that option. I'm well satisfied with the Pancky digging tool and I would definitely recommend it.
