I bought this thinking it was going to be 100% non-stick but it wasnt. My fragile new skin grew into the dressing andI found it impossible to remove the dressing without removing my new skin as well. After finding it stuck the first use, I used a hydro gel (or may have been Vaseline) with it to prevent adhesion and warmed up the dressing before removal This was successful and left my new skin intact on the wound where I wanted it to be. It is transparent when applied so you can see what's going on as long as you have put a transparent secondary dressing on it. I used tagamet film. A secondary dressing is necessary because the silicone contact layer only has light adhesion properties.
