I bought this last month to make whole wheat breads at home. I have tried making whole wheat bread earlier without wheat gluten a couple of times. Both the attempts were a disaster. The bread didn't rise, it was very dense. Made whole wheat bread yest again with this wheat gluten.. the bread rose well.. it has come out quite soft. Very happy with the result.I recommend this product for people who want to bake with flours with less gluten. Results are very good. It makes a lot of difference when you add this to your flour.

We used this wheat gluten powder to bake Seitan - Gluten Bread - in a digital pressure cooker. Having mixed the spices and kneaded the dough, we baked it for 60 minutes. The resulting bread was soft to eat, but solid and bulky like gluten bread is supposed to be. We stored the bread in a freezer and it kept well for more than a week.The gluten powder itself can be stored in a fridge and it holds well for a month (in our case, as we didn't use it immediately). It'll probably last much longer. The packet is a press-locking plastic pouch and the seal is tight. Excellent product and excellent packaging. We will be purchasing this product regularly.
