Better options avaliable.
Straight points...Nibs quality is good.pen is ABS plastic, so it feels solid but light.Aluminum case to store the pen and the nibs.you get a converter inside the pen so don't worry about using the cartages and running out of ink.It is not a wet writer so it's actually good for thin paper unlike a flex nib that'll bleed through.- The size 3 nib wasn't writing out of the box, I had to tweak tines a little.- Size 1 nib is the best writer.- The nibs are totally solid and don't flex whatsoever.- The grip section... well there is no grip, it's smooth as butter. Very awful, fingers keep slipping a lot.- It is good for calligraphy, yes, but the line variation can't be controlled like in flex nibs which look more natural and beautiful for penmenship.- It is costly, there are other CFPs in the market for similar price which have more nibs in the box and are of OK quality.Don't get it wrong, the pen and the nibs quality is good but I did have to spend a couple of minutes tweaking the tines on one of the nibs and if it's a total beginner then they'll not know why it isn't working or they might break the nib while trying, so If am having to do that, I might as well buy a different branded pen where I can spend a few more minutes tweaking the nibs and match the quality of those.Over all.. bit on the fence, not sure if I'd recommend but I wouldn't say no either.

Style over substance. One does not expect this kind of LOW QUALITY from a "reputed brand", parker.
One does not expect this kind of LOW QUALITY from a "reputed brand", parker.I have had cheaper and better product from local brands at half price.Several cons:1. Only 4 nibs at that price. I agree one will know that while buying. But what one does not know is the width does not vary much. Furthermore even the widest one is not wide enough.2. It is very hard to pierce the cartridges. Once you have succeeded in that task you will find that for wide nibs the ink does not at all flow from cartridge to tip. Any amount of shaking the nib, pressing the nib on paper will get you a smooth ink flow. Only option was to shake a drop on paper and then dip in that.3. The cherry on the top: After I have decided to ditch the cartridges and instead use the converter, I found that the converter piston leaks ink. That was quite a bit of unpleasant surprise for me! I have used parker converters before with my other pens and they were fine. So it might be my ill fate. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Very few pros:1. The nibs are smooth once you have managed to get ink on top.2. They do give you a nice looking box. But mine was scratched on top.Overall verdict.NO. I WILL NOT BUY THIS AGAIN OR SUGGEST TO ANYONE.
