Sauna Sand Timer - 15 Minute Timer Sauna Accessories, Handmade of Canadian Red Cedar

This is super expensive and I bought it because it looks nicer than other sand timers. It stopped working after 2 days even after shaking and tapping it. The sand is completely clogged and it doesn’t work at all

Purchased this item back in the beginning of last month. Seemed like a quality product when it first arrived and I was very excited to install it in my sauna. The timer worked perfectly for several weeks and then, literally one day after the return period on Amazon ended, it suddenly stopped working. Ostensibly, the tubes that hold the sand are not properly weather-sealed because the sand has now stopped flowing. This leads me to speculate that some of the sand must have become slightly moist causing it to stop flowing properly. Don't try to pinch pennies like I did, go and spend the extra money to purchase a proper sand timer from a reputable sauna company, like Harvia, that produces functional products that will stand the test of time.

So - we installed this in our sauna before we checked to see if it actually worked. After the first sauna, it seemed like it wasn't working. THEN we set a phone time & turned on this timer - not even close. The sand timer wasn't even halfway done when the 15 minute phone timer went off. So annoyed. Our pretty sauna now has holes in it & this timer is being returned. Sadly, we also bought one for our neighbors who also have a sauna - guessing we'll be returning that one too.

Just built a sauna for the family. Was excited to use this sand timer instead of our phones for timed sessions. Sand timer stopped working after about a month of use. Guess we'll have to find a better product. Not an expensive loss, but this product should work a couple of years before crapping out. Don't buy!

Broke in sauna in two weeks cheep made

The sand stops in various places. I moved it leveled it, put it in a different direction. Still not accurate.

I bought this item twice. The first one came broken and was able to replace it with the second one. Within a few sessions, it didn’t work unless you tapped it repeatedly. Now it’s completely stopped up and fails to work. And of course it is passed the return. Period so I’m stuck with a timer that doesn’t tell time.

This product worked for several weeks then started getting stuck and we would have to tap it to get it going again. Now the same doesnt move at all.
