When my wife and I set out to purchase two new recliners, we quickly noticed that most of these recliners include electronic devices for leg rests. Since we don't want cords sprawling all over our living room, we veered away from these automated chairs. Thankfully, I did a quick search on Amazon and discovered the universal battery pack. Hoping this product would work, we purchased the automated chairs.When the universal batter pack arrived, I allowed the device to charge for a few hours. Within seconds, the product was installed covertly behind the chair. This product is a life-saver. It only needs to be recharged every 30 days or so. This is a solid product which should last several years. In fact, I liked the product so much, I immediately ordered another one.A must-purchase for anyone with a digital recliner!

I was hoping to hide the cords to my husband’s recliner with this battery pack. It does accomplish that, however it needs to be recharged every couple of days I think the biggest benefit from having this will occur during hurricane season when our power will potentially be out for days on end. We might be sweating our butts off, but the recliner will be adjustable.

This was great for my new couch, I now don’t see the cord in the middle of the floor.

Battery life is okay. It doesn’t lasts long.

These batteries are amazing! They holdthe charge and powerup quickly! Great buy.

This battery only holds a charge for 1.5-2 days even when it's not being used. I will be returning it and getting a refund.

I finally got around to getting this installed with my favorite power recliner. I haven't had to rely on the battery backup yet, but have tested it. Unlike just spending money on 9volt batteries that you may or may not use, I decided to go this route. Once installed, let it charge for a few hours and you are good to go. Simply remove the original power adapter from the picture, connect this one, use the lock to ensure it stays connected, and sit back and relax. Not sure how many times it will work without power, but it lifted and sat me 3 tines.

Easy to install, charges directly with connection into furniture. Haven't needed to use it as a backup yet, but stays charged. One downside is there is only 1 secure clip vs 1 on each side, so you have to be careful there is not too much tension on it. It came unplugged once while in the reclining position so as you can imagine - was very difficult to get myself out without damage to the recliner.
