Works good, easy to read.

good suction, easy to read. but, I have had to buy three in the last four or five months. They do not last very long or work very well. They seem accurate but they just die very quickly. And conveniently it’s always right past the return window lol. So frustrating!

It was good when I got it. I tested against two other digital thermometers.< 7 months in it is suddenly reading 8° too COLD. Okay winter is here so at first I turned up the heater (like every year this time). But when the temp didn’t rise much, I checked it against others and it’s now WAY off.Plus, as I was trying to put it back in the tank the suction cup wouldn’t stick to the glass. As I tried to press it a little harder, it broke. Now, it doesn’t read AND would just float upside down (can’t see the readout).It’s no longer useful - after less than a year.

As much as I wanted to keep these for a while they only lasted me one month and then completely died I want to replace the battery and still nothing.

I love these thermometers. I have never had one not work. I can see the temperature as I'm walking by the tanks instead of having to stop and peer down at other digital thermometers. It is important that the battery is seated correctly. If the thermometer is not work just loosen the cap and reseat the battery and retighten the cap. The actual screen part of the device is 1" wide by .5" which makes for a pretty huge display compared to others. I own 13 tanks right now and bought enough to outfit them all. I can't speak to longevity but honestly I don't expect any underwater electrical device to last more than a year. Go ahead and try them and You'll be hooked.

The simplicity of this thermometer is nice but there is a design flaw and that is where the suction cup and the main body thermometer is connected. The suction cup will lose its form and will just lose its suction and will float around my aquarium, so I will have to place it again and again to the aquarium glass and the same after a couple of minutes it will lose its suction and will float around my aquarium until it became brittle and broken. It’s really nice but where the placement of the suction cup and that thin gap between the main thermometer is really an issue for me cause of what had happened. It’s 2 stars for the working digital thermometer and -3 stars for the design flaw.

Had a mishap w regular thermometer on tank and lost a couple fish because of incorrect temperature reading. Since I’ve used this my reading have Ben accurate and I’m not stressed about the fish dying

Worked great for awhile but after about a month it started going crazy the temperatures were all one thing one day and +25 degrees the next I think the seal leaked and water got in so I threw it out
