When I dye my hair purple, it often reverts to being a brassy red after several washes. This shampoo slows that process down especially if I leave in in for a bit longer before washing out. Buying my second bottle today :)

I brought this in the hopes it would make my hair more purple. I used the crazy colour lilac (pictured as purple) to dye my hair and it came out fully blue, it had faded enough that I wanted to see if I could get more of a purple colour on-top.The shampoo is blue in colour, like the lilac dye, I followed the instructions and left it on for a few minutes, it definitely evened out and made the blue darker/brighter again but definitely left no purple colour in there.I am sure if you have purple / pink hair this might work to brighten up purple but its so heavy blue that if your hair is blonde, blue or light blue it will definitely just go to some random shade of blue.The smell isn't too strong but still isn't nice, would definitely recommend shampooing and/or conditioning hair after so you don't keep the chemical smell.
