Well made with metal tubing, heavy gauge mesh, and two quality plastic hinges which allow for mesh part to be folded down when not in use. Also included are additional screws and straps to secure to bed frame. Easy to assemble and super sturdy when fitted to mattress. This fit my king size mattress perfectly. Would buy again!

Purchased this for my granddaughter when she moved to twin bed! It is the perfect size; keeps her from rolling out but she can still climb in and out on her own. It easily folds down out of the way when not needed.

This works great. Gave my 3.5 y/o grandson comfort and security when he transitioned to a full size bed. Easy to assemble. Folds down conveniently.

This works great for twin mattresses an bigger but not the mattresses that are in transitioning toddler bed. There is a big gap between the mattress and the mesh of the product. I've had to put a pillow to close the gap. It seems to work on other mattresses just don't get this is you have a toddler bed.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I needed something sturdy at the foot of my king-sized bed to keep my older dog from falling off in the middle of the night. She’s a black lab mix, weighs about 46 lbs, and is missing her left rear leg. She likes to sleep at the foot of the bed, and when she moves around to get comfortable she sometimes loses her balance, which makes her fall. This bed rail is the perfect length and is sturdy enough to keep her safe, even when she ends up rolling into it. I’m a little concerned about her claws tearing the mesh if she accidentally gets her paws too close, but so far she seems to understand she needs to keep her distance from it. The instructions are pretty good, and it took me about 25 minutes to put together by myself. It’s super easy to raise and lower, and folds down out of the way when it’s not needed. I don’t have kids so I can’t address this from that viewpoint, but you’re looking for something sturdy to keep your pet safe, try this out!

Great product! It’s great value and even better quality. It was so easy to assemble. I didn’t need any tools at all! It’s also stable and secure. It’s fits the entire side of my queen sized bed. I will be buying more! Amazing!

Easy to put together. Adequate bar size under the mattress. Fold down is a bonus! Shown on a queen sized bed.

I liked this product for keeping my 16 month old toddler from rolling off our bed, but this morning after only a few months of use, one of the plastic hinges snapped clean off. Now the rail is useless and it’s going to the trash. So disappointing. I am willing to update this review if the company is able to demonstrate good customer service.Update: The company reached out to me promptly after my review and offered either replacement parts or a full refund to make things right. I chose the replacement parts, which arrived in about two weeks and were easy to install. I’m pleased with the resolution and appreciate their customer service.I did deduct one star because the rails leave slight gaps along the edges. For that reason, I personally would not recommend this product for infants, but I feel comfortable using it with my toddler, who is old enough to let me know if something isn’t right.
